Who are you and what do you do?
I am the founder and Chief Creative Director of Geminus, Inc., a marketing and branding company with a twist, as I am also an INVENTOR. This means I am able to provide my clients with unique and proprietary products that let them stand out from their competition.
My “Geminus Genius Case” for the iPad and- iPad2 was recently selected by Air Canada as THE essential case for travel. Out of the thousands of iPad cases on the market today, this distinction, as featured in the September 2011 issue of enRoute magazine, is one of the reasons why my invention has become the popular choice for business professionals around the world.

Another invention of mine that has taken the pet world by storm is my new “Safetyflash” dog handle. It is an ergonomic dog leash that has a powerful flashlight, tri-color safety flashers and an emergency alarm. It makes the perfect gift for any dog owner on your list.
How do you bring ideas to life?
I see a need and I fill it.
In the case of my Geminus Genius Case, I could not find an iPad case that offered all the features I needed for my business travel. I wanted a sleek case that could hold my charger cord and my earbuds, as well as have lots of compartments for papers and a handy place for pop-up Post-it Notes. I also wanted my case to be personalized with my name and company logo. Finding all of these features at an affordable price was impossible UNTIL I invented it myself!
My ergonomic Safetyflash dog handle was invented because I had to walk my dog at night in an area where coyotes and other wild animals roamed. By adding a flashlight and a loud emergency alarm to a dog leash, I was able to scare off potential threats.
What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?
365 Thank Yous: The Year A Simple Act Of Daily Gratitude Changed My Life by John Kralik. This book WILL change your life and your attitude about gratitude.
What is one piece of advice that you’d like to give?
There is nothing more powerful than the written word. I send hand written thank you notes to my customers. This simple act has made me stand out among the crowd, as most people are too busy to hand write a note. “Inbox overload” has made most of us numb to emailed correspondence, which is why a hand written note is even more important in today’s world. Stop and smell the roses and thank those who have made a difference in your life.
What is one idea that you’re going to bring to life in 2012?
