Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Monica Nielsen. I recently started a new business called Hair Extensions by Monica. I am also launching another new company – details coming soon!
How do you bring ideas to life?
I have always been an entrepreneur and have owned successful companies through the years. I bring my ideas to life because I am passionate about achieving and doing the things I want to accomplish. When I have an idea, I don’t just toss it around in my mind; I learn about it, study it and let the passion within me take over!
What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?
Wow, there are so many incredible books available. Right now, Brand Against the Machine by John Morgan is high on my must read list. I would recommend the community read books that help ignite the fire within them, no matter what the subject is. If you are reading material that causes your soul and mind to come alive, then you are reading the right books.
What is one piece of advice that you’d like to give?
Stay true to your values and never stop working on achieving your dreams. You truly can do anything your heart desires, you just have to make it happen.
What is one idea that you’re going to bring to life in 2012?
My new business, Hair Extensions by Monica is just launching. We are going to take it from infancy to adulthood in no time.
