Where did the idea for your company come from?

As a licensed Acupuncturist, I realized that I’m only able to help people one-on-one. At most, in one hour, I can help 3 to 4 people. With all of my spiritual studies and all of the growth that I have done as an individual, I felt like I needed to speak to the masses. I decided to start up a sister company called Grateful Guidance in order to get my message out there into the world.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

My typical day starts with the hustle and bustle of trying to get the kids out of the house on time and to school. Then, I usually go to yoga and start with my own self-care with my breathing and movement. Then, I go over to the office. If it’s a patient day, I work in between patients to try to do live videos and create content for the global business. If it’s a non-patient day, then I spend that day in meetings trying to get myself out there in front of other individuals and creating partnerships and just getting my name out into the world.

How do you bring ideas to life?

First, I get the idea, usually intuitively or through a download that I get when I am in meditation or in Shavasana at yoga. Then, I break that idea down. First of all, I write it down. When I write it down, it usually creates itself. Then, I take it and I break it down backwards so I can get to that point. Then I assign tasks on how to complete those.

What’s one trend that excites you?

The trend that excites me is overall health and wellness, self-care, and self-love. I am definitely into the trend right now that’s happening with that.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

I think having a regular yoga practice has really helped me with being an entrepreneur. Taking the time for myself to move my body and to connect my breath with my body. It has helped me to not react in business. The higher you rise, the bigger your problems are. The less that you react emotionally, the stronger you become and you’re really able to handle everything. I really do give a lot of credit to my yoga practice for that.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would love to tell my younger self that everything is going to be okay. I would also tell myself to take care of your pregnant body.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

Something that I think is true that almost nobody agrees with me on is that cow dairy is not good for you at all.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

I recommend that everyone goes to acupuncture. I am a big believer and a recipient of acupuncture. I think that it helps with any problem that you have and it helps prevent things from setting in.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

Manifesting is my strategy. I am always grateful for things as though I already have them. So, whenever it comes to something in my business, whether I am trying to grow my patient base or bring in some kind of new marketing idea, I see it and feel it before it actually happens. Then, I sit back and watch it unfold.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

My failure as an entrepreneur is trusting everyone. Now, I trust no one. That’s how I overcame that. I live life to the capacity of if you believe it, you will see it. Now, as an entrepreneur, I work with ‘I need to see it in order to believe it’ when it comes to other people involved.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

One idea I have is creating an Uber for kids. I think if there is a stay-at-home mom or dad out there who wants to start a business. This would be somebody who has credibility and could have a background check done. I think there is a huge market of teenage kids who need rides that a lot of parents would pay a lot of money for. I think it would be an outstanding business model and it would give a lot of people employment that are sitting around and looking to make some extra cash.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

The best $100 that I have recently spent is on my Lunarly Box Subscription. I think it was $110 for a three-month subscription. Every month I get a plant with different moon crystals and other items inside. It’s a lot of fun. It makes me feel like I have a green thumb, which I don’t. It is sending me plants that I would never normally purchase for myself. It’s bringing life into my office and it’s introducing me into the world of crystals, which I have wanted to expand my horizons in. I think it’s just fun getting a little gift for me every month.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

I love to use Zoom. It’s a great way to connect with people and it’s a great way to do recordings. I also like to transcribe off of Zoom, so once I have done an interview, sometimes I will go in and use rev.com and I’ll go in and transcribe anything we have done on Zoom.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

Aside from my book, 31 Days of Gratitude: Create the Life You Desire, I think a great book that everybody should read is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. The book is fantastic. It is a great way to go about living life and how to be impeccable with your word.

What is your favorite quote?
