Five Questions with Sunday Larson

Who are you and what do you do?

Sunday from Sedona, Arizona. Romancing the Muse: creativity retreats, coaching and pilgrimages. Sedona, Arizona, a global center of creativity, is the birthplace of the Muse. Cloaked in red, she awaits your arrival.

The Muse is an emissary from afar and a messenger from the highest self. She works from both inner and outer realms. At Romancing the Muse retreat people learn how to court and propitiate her and how to design rituals of respect.

Enhanced and enlivened by ritual, movement, art and story, participants’ senses are the portals of reception that unshackle creativity, unleash sensuality and engage their Muses — the Radiant Strangers who accompany each person on the path from inspiration to manifestation.

Once engaged, the Muse will transform limitations, while calling forth one’s wildly wise, sometimes wayward, sometimes fearless, creative voice.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I write the Secrets of Sedona Fables for the Cosmospolitan and Secret of the Missing Crown: A Pilgrimage of Change.

Volume 1 of The Secrets of Sedona — Fables for the Cosmospolitan is an elegantly simple story that illuminates, radiates and inspires. It is a pilgrimage through the Sedona countryside, teaching a woebegone artist and her guardian angel the secret to help them negotiate the tricky, taxing, and sometimes terrifying terrain of change. Secret of the Missing Crown is a charming and perceptive union of words and images that again proves that angels appear in forms least expected and there is healing power in the red rocks of Sedona.
