Who are you and what do you do?
I am Tony Jackson, President and CEO of 1st Taxi & Charter Bus Insurance Services, Inc. As an insurance agent I am creating a proactive, eco-friendly specialty insurance retail brokerage.
I’m also a former OCTAP permitted taxi cab driver with an AGENDA to make a difference in the public transportation industry for drivers, for fleet owners and for the future of all hard working people movers.
I have more than 15 years of experience as an insurance broker and effectively negotiate insurance by delivering better coverage options. I am currently working with GreenKraftInc.com to help promote green compliance of buses and taxi cabs by offering compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion kits that convert existing fleets from gas/diesel to CNG clean fuel to help reduce carbon footprints.
How do you bring ideas to life?
My ideas are brought to life when I believe they can make a difference for the betterment of something. I am a semi-risk taker. If it makes sense, I go for it; but I do make a point to do my homework, research and verify.
I consult with my mentors, my family and those whom I believe it can positively effect.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

What is one piece of advice that you’d like to give?
You don’t have to give up. You really don’t have to. My advice, reject negative.
What is one idea that you’re going to bring to life in 2012?
My plan to create a resourceful insurance agency. Green Up Insure with us will be the idea resonating throughout the ground transportation world.
