Don’t forget about family! Schedule quality family time to keep balance in your life.

Daniel Nyiri is the Founder, CEO and owner of the first and only EMS Franchise in the U.S. among many other companies he helps fitness professionals to succeed in this very competitive market.

4U Fitness epitomizes the american dream. Founded by a 21 year old who came to the U.S. with only $150 in his pocket and a language barrier, he knew that with hard work and dedication he could make great things happen.

That $150 turned into a new fitness location, then another one, and eventually into a franchise with the latest technology in fitness.

The owner, Daniel Nyiri, is responsible for bringing Electro Fitness, or E-Fit, to the United States. He developed, introduced and earned clearance from the FDA with the founder of E-Fit Dr. Janos Papp for the high tech workout machine. Since gaining FDA clearance in October 2014, the 4U Fitness brand and E-Fit awareness has flourished in Tampa Bay and has picked up national recognition.

Where did the idea for 4U Fitness come from?

At the peak of my professional hockey career, I was severely injured during a training camp. After seeking medical attention, my Doctor stated that if I were to get hit like that again, I would likely end up in a wheelchair. To make a long story short, I had to rethink my career, goals and dreams because being a Professional Hockey player was no longer in the cards. As I thought about my passions, I knew that helping people was the next best thing. As an athlete I had run across so many time-consuming workouts, fad diets, and crazy myths within the fitness industry. I didn’t want to just fall into line with all of the other cookie-cutter gyms that sell crazy supplements to make a quick buck. I truly wanted to separate myself from the crowd so that I could draw some attention. So we came up with 20-Minute Workout with Electric Muscle Stimulation. We have solved the issue of TIME being used an excuse! With this technology, it only takes 2 x 20-minute sessions to get the results you desire and deserve!

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

I always start with my journal. I create and write down my schedule for the next day! My regular morning routine begins with a shower where I go over my goals and tell myself who I am going to become. Because “you are who you choose to be” and “the only person you are destined to become is the person you decide”. I re-read my motivational quotes for additional inspiration. On my way to work I listen to my audiobooks and when I arrive to work I have my coffee and continue with more reading and brainstorming about new ideas. Once I have done all of the above, I start with the the most difficult tasks for the day! 2 days during the week, I will then follow-up with my own morning workout. On the opposing days, I take meditational walks for inspiration and to also clear my mind. During the middle of the day, I mainly focus on my revenue generating activities and keep track of my progress. I will also follow-up and keep my team up to date with all programs and company info. And lastly, I will always find the time for continuing my education.

How do you bring ideas to life?

That’s a tough one. I have a huge folder on my computer full of ideas. Each one of them has a different title and has at least 2 pages full of details. However when you are visionary, these ideas can really clutter your mind. So to keep organized, one hour a day I try to make the best idea come to life and unfortunately have to close out the rest. Bringing the idea to life isn’t difficult; the hardest part of this process is saying no to all of my other amazing ideas!

What’s one trend that really excites you?

Electric cars and the space program. My team and I are actually working on the solution for astronauts to prevent muscle atrophy in space and preserve lean mass! We have an amazing research team in the Tampa Bay Area whom we are collaborating with to become a part of the Mission to Mars!

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

I truly want to change the world and have an impact on people. And this is a race that I want to win…badly! If you ask my wife she would tell you that I never stop. Once she falls asleep, I get back downstairs and start reading and researching in efforts of coming up with a solution to fight the biggest killer (obesity) and biggest debt generator in the U.S. Health Industry. I feel like that is my life’s mission and I won’t leave this world until I accomplish it all.

What was the worst job you ever had and what did you learn from it?

I was only 11 years old and my father wanted to teach me how the world really works. He made me work for food; otherwise I would go to sleep hungry. On a few occasions, I would watch him eat while my stomach was growling and calling for food. So in order to earn food like a potato, I had to perform hard labor since the house was going through construction. One life-changing example is he used to drop me off in the middle of the forest at night 5 miles from our house with my bow and arrow. He told me if I am hungry, then I better shoot something or don’t bother coming home. I was freaking 11 years old and afraid of the dark! At that time I didn’t know that darkness is the absence of light (photons). At 11, your imagination runs wild, so I thought all of the scary monsters and animals that I read about in books, magazines and cartoons would come after me! Survival may not be a “job”, but I think it’s the most important job I have ever had to take on. This job taught me how to survive and the amount of work that it takes in order to be successful.

If you were to start again, what would you do differently?

I would have read a lot more books as a kid. I would have skipped playing professional hockey and instead focus on helping people including my grandparents. If I would have known what I know now, they may have still been living at this moment.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

I would recommend these 3 things that lead to success: 1. Plan ahead! Be prepared, have structure and stop winging it! 2. Keep educating yourself! Don’t stop! Getting an education and completing college is just a step. You have to learn how to use what you learned, actually apply it and most importantly you have to continue educating yourself forever! 3. Don’t forget about family! Schedule quality family time to keep balance in your life.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business? Please explain how.

Focus on yourself and step away from the crowd. Really listen to what the people want and then deliver what they are asking for, not what we think they want. My business actually focuses on what our clients really desire!

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

Patience. I have zero patience. I always feel like I am running out of time or if I want something to happen now, it needs to happen at that moment. In the beginning, I struggled with waiting on others to complete a task. For example, if I gave a job to one of our workers, I had little to no patience in waiting for them to finish the task. So I would just say “get out of the way and let me finish it”. I wanted to do everything myself which almost broke the company! I was doing 10 dollar per hour jobs like, cleaning, fixing lights, repairing water fountains, drywall etc., when instead I should have hired the right person do it in half the time allowing me to focus on growing the company.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Get in on AI (artificial intelligence) now! If you are a Tech company, you should definitely look into AI if you haven’t already done so! It is the next big thing like the “.com: bubble was in the 90’s. Now is the time to get in!
Even we are developing our own AI and we are a Fitness company! Imagine having your own personal coach with you 24/7 who would keep you accountable by looking into your nutritional habits, fitness activity and daily lifestyle?! Ya, thats right! People want this! People absolutely love Amazon’s Echo and Apple’s Siri. Even now, Tesla cars has shown that AI has the ability to drive you to and from your destination simply by speaking into the car!

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

I recently bought my wife a new pair of Nike Sneakers. When I told her I would buy her some shoes, you should have seen her face! She lit up! Because we work together, we bartered a bit. In return for the new shoes, she knocked out 3 awesome Recipes that included pictures and step-by-step video instructions! These awesome recipes teach our clients and fans how they can easily prepare, healthy, quick and tasty meals with little to no experience! And she even posted them on our website that same day! I would consider this the best $100 investment because I think I got the better deal!

What software and web services do you use? What do you love about them?

We developed our own POS and booking system. We try to keep everything in-house. We are working on our own cloud system as well, but at the moment we use Google Drive and we love it. Using Google Drive allows our team to read and edit any shared documents from anywhere and at any time of day.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

I highly recommend that everyone read “The Richest man in Babylon”. It is an older book but it will teach you the fundamental laws of wealth and the value of money! If you don’t know these basic principles of wealth, you will fail at one point and learn it the hard way.

What people have influenced your thinking and might be of interest to others?

Steve Jobs – Taught me how to think different. I feel horrible that I can not tell him how appreciative I am for that knowledge.

Elon Musk showed me the purpose of life. It is to build a life for the generation you will leave behind. He also showed me the importance of self-education. I hope that I can personally thank him for that soon; Once we complete our project for the space program.

Roberto Goizueta – taught me that nothing is impossible. As a Cuban immigrant, he went from making 500 dollars per month to receiving a bonus check from Coca Cola in the amount of 83 million dollars. Coca Cola went from a 4.3 billion to 152 billion dollar company because of Goizueta.
