Dr. Nima – Founder of Solution Chiropractic

If I was to start again, I would start focusing on personal development way earlier that I did.

Dr. Nima graduated from University of British Columbia in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology & Genetics. He followed his passion of natural, holistic health care by attending University of Western States to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating in 2010. After graduating in 2010, Dr. Nima started practicing at Bridge Chiropractic, one of the largest and most successful natural health clinics in the U.S. In 2016 Dr. Nima relocated to Seattle, WA to start Solution Chiropractic, a state of the art chiropractic, rehab and massage clinic using the most advanced spinal corrective care approaches. Solution Chiropractic has grown at a tremendous pace and in a short few months has become one of the most well known chiropractic offices in Seattle, WA, providing care to hundreds of patients on a weekly basis.

Where did the idea for Solution Chiropractic come from?

I decided to start Solution Chiropractic to transform the health of the people in Seattle and surrounding areas. There are millions of people suffering from chronic lifestyle health issues that are relying on drugs or surgery to get relief without addressing the root cause of their problem. I believe that by addressing the root cause of patient’s health issues, we can offer them a long term solution as opposed to just covering up their symptoms.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

A typical day for me starts at 6am with a cup of coffee while reading a personal development book. This is followed by a short meditation routine to focus on what I am grateful for and my personal and business goals.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I bring my ideas to life first by writing them in my journal. Once I have had time to contemplate and visualize what it is that I want to accomplish then I come up with a precise action plan broken down into small and large steps that need to be taken to bring the idea to life.

What’s one trend that really excites you?

One trend that excites me the most is the increased number of people that are utilizing natural holistic health approaches that focus on the root cause and the whole body as opposed to just taking medication to cover up symptoms.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

One habit that makes me more productive as an entrepreneur is my strong desire and commitment to continued personal development.

What was the worst job you ever had and what did you learn from it?

The worst job I ever had was working as a customer service rep for a large company in Vancouver, Canada while I was in college. We had to deal with a lot of people calling to complain about their issues with the company’s products. As frustrating as this job was, it taught me to be more patient and compassionate towards people even when it seemed like many were trying to unload their frustration on me.

If you were to start again, what would you do differently?

If I was to start again, I would start focusing on personal development way earlier that I did. I started becoming passionate about personal development when I was in chiropractic college.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

As an entrepreneur one thing that I have found to be absolutely necessary is persistence and a strong sense of belief that things will work themselves out if we are determined enough to continue when things are falling apart.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business? Please explain how.

One strategy that has helped us grow at a tremendous pace was implementing a 90 day marketing program 3 months prior to the opening of our new practice. This allowed us to have over 40 new patients on our schedule during our first week of being open and gave us the momentum and confidence needed to have a successful launch.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

One failure that I had as an entrepreneur was not having a systematic approach to hiring staff members. This led to some staff turnover in the first few months of us being open which caused stress and frustration. I resolved this issue by hiring a business coach who helped us implement a hiring process to pick good candidates that would stay with us long term.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

One business idea that I can share with the readers is the trends that are taking place in health care. With millions of people retiring in the coming years and also the younger generation’s knowledge and information, more and more people are questioning the status quo and willing to try new, alternative approaches. If we can understand this trend and capitalize on it by providing services that meet the changing demand, then you have a recipe for business success.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

Although it didn’t cost a $100, the best money I recently spent was on buying Tony Robbin’s new book on financial mastery “Unshakeable”.

What software and web services do you use? What do you love about them?

One web service that I use is Philosopher’s Notes. It provides brief written and audio summaries of all the top personal development books that come out.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

Two books that have played a major role in my success are: “Awaken the Giant Within” by Tony Robbins and “Think & Grow Rich” by Napolean Hill.
