Erin Hanson – Life-long Painter
I think everyone should read the book Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand because it teaches you to stand on your own two feet financially speaking and about integrity.
Erin Hanson transforms desert landscape into an abstract mosaic of color and texture. The impasto application of paint lends a sculptural effect to her art. These oil paintings are created wet-on-wet, without layering, allowing you to experience every brush stroke. A colorful underpainting gives a unique, glowing effect to her paintings.

Erin Hanson is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oil painting at 12 years old. As a teenager, she worked in a mural studio, painting for restaurants and casinos. A graduate of UC Berkeley, Erin Hanson took pause from art to study Bioengineering. She has since spent 5 years rock climbing and painting the scenery of Utah, Nevada, Arizona and California.”
