Where did the idea for 401K RETIRE LOGIC & 401K Legit come from?

The company was founded on the belief that there is a significant and undeniable need for guidance towards retirement planning in company retirement plans. This it true for those who are just entering the workforce and those who are nearing retirement, along with everyone in between. We have seen that it is all too common for workers not to have a proper plan in place, and it is therefore our goal to educate our clients so that they can enjoy the long-term financial security that comes from abiding by solid investment strategies.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

One of the things I love about my work is that each day is different and is filled with new challenges. While my tasks are incredibly varied and diverse on a day-to-day basis, my actions are always guided by what is in the best interest of the client.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I am incredibly grateful to possess an intuitive nature which helps us meet the ever changing financial needs of both clients of today and tomorrow. People retiring now are much different than the retirees of the future. The internet will play a vital role in the future generation’s retirement planning. if we, as advisors, aren’t prepared for social media advising, we will not be successful in reaching the next generation. It is imperative to implement ideas today quickly and efficiently to be successful tomorrow.

What’s one trend that really excites you?

As I previously stated, advising through social media is very exciting to me. Does this mean our interaction with people isn’t? Absolutely not! Meeting with clients one on one is the heartbeat of this industry. However, more people can be reached and educated on investing through the internet. I find that very rewarding as well.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

I start each day with client focus on the forefront. They are the reason I am in business and their needs are always the most important priority to my company. I come from an era where customer service was the lifeblood of your business. It still is and always will be. My clients can reach me 24/7. I have no restrictions as to when they call or want to meet, as I do business on Saturdays and Sundays. Most advisors don’t agree with this work practice, I am not most advisors.

What was the worst job you ever had and what did you learn from it?

I was taught that you need to give 100% to whatever job you have been hired to do. I cannot say that I have ever had a worst job. I have learned many things about work styles and people over the years. I am grateful for every opportunity I have had because they lead me to the path of success.

If you were to start again, what would you do differently?

I would have simplified the way we present investment information much earlier. I was concerned about over-simplifying the way we explained our investment strategies early on, but our clients made it quite clear that they prefer information to be presented in the clearest terms possible.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

I consistently evaluate our business so that we never become complacent in any way. We have achieved a great deal of success early on, but that does not mean that there is nothing we can improve upon. It is important to understand that there is always something that can be done better.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business? Please explain how.

The best strategy we know for continued growth is to focus on the quality of the services we provide so that they best meet the needs of the client. For us, growth has to be client-driven, and I suspect that any entrepreneur can only go so far as consumers will allow.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

I don’t know if this would count as a failure, but I did fail to recognize the initial demand for our services. It was a good problem to have, but it would have been devastating if we had not been able to meet that initial demand.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

The education and focus on investing for women. Women play a huge part in the business world today and will continue to in the future. I have two daughters and I want them to be equipped with the education and skills they need to meet their financial goals. You will see more internet programs geared toward women. This is one of my passions going forward.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

I believe that we must give back to society to continue receiving the blessings we have been provided. This can be to charities, churches, or any organization you feel connected to. I adopted an abused pet from a shelter with my last $100.

What software and web services do you use? What do you love about them?

I have to say YouTube for my 401k Legit business. It allowed me to reach employees in my 401k plans that could never attend a meeting or a webinar.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

It is a book on perseverance, faith and courage.

What people have influenced your thinking and might be of interest to other?

There are so many influential people I could name from Abraham Lincoln to Steve Jobs. However, I think it is their passion, hard work and dedication that inspires me the most.
