Silas Theophilus Busang Nyembe started engaging in the family business when he was 12 years of age working as an assistant at his aunt’s supermarket whereby he had to learn all the basics he had to learn. Then he started tackling minor duties of the operation of the supermarket at the age of 14 years.

At the age of 16 years he then started working with his late father Tshepo Theophilus Modimoeng as a junior manager of a family Butchery and he was taught how to run the daily operations of the business and then he started working at a Café with his younger aunt as a junior manager and introduced several ideas that lead the business to succeed in terms of sales and eliminating competition.

A year later Silas was then a full time day to day operations manager of all the family businesses and he formed a healthy relationship with all his teachers and mentors in business. 2016 he then formulated a new entity of his own T.S.B Records which managed to achieve few achievements and a strong relationship with its Alias in business. Same year a property development company was then registered named 2 TIS Property Developers in which he was a partner with his late father Tshepo Theophilus Modimoeng.

Early 2017 he joined WLS Construction And Hardware which aimed at being a supplier of Sibanye Gold and other private corporations. Currently Silas is part of a growing network of young Entrepreneurs and leaders who are taking responsibility and making a difference, the network is South West Youth Arts And Culture (SWYAAC).

He is also a director at Westonaria Development Forum. Silas found development more interesting than any other business venture he joined. He is now a full time consultant, community personal, and he just started his new career as a politician. He is currently lobbing for the Chairperson position at his ANC YOUTH LEGUE branch. He is looking forward to introduce new developments that will bring change not only to the youth but to the following generation after his.

He is engaging with the community council to raise different views apart from the traditional transaction of decision making and planning. Silas believes that he was born for only one reason which is to bring hope when no one believes things will change.
