Vincent Du is an iconic Chinese young dreamer who has built a global brand. As a young man who believed in “Do what you love most and never stop!” Vincent quitted his well-paid job and fully invested his time and abilities in sculpture art. He founded Vincentaa Sculpture Company LTD in 2006, a group of talented and professional artist combining artistic flair with experience to create an extensive range of distinctive statues and sculptures. Today,his company manufactures and designs meticulously crafted products range of over 3000 items and satisfied a lot of customers around the world.

Where did the idea for Vincentaa Sculpture Co.,Ltd come from?
I personally quite adore sculpture though I am not an artist. Exactly I have plenty of professional resources around. What I did is to integrate these resources and spread the works to every corner worldwide.
What does your typical day look like, and how do you make it productive?
Every morning after I step into my office, I will first make a cup of tea, and place a pen and a piece of paper on my desk. Then I will review the whole working content of yesterday, by analyzing, simulating and judging current situation, I can list a detailed working plan. Such as to determine to communicate with which department supervisor and the necessary communicating content. I will finally make a set of plan and scheme of how to promote situation.
Due to our Vincentaa is now experiencing its infancy, the departments may not that mature and the experience of some managers may have some room to improve. So I prefer to communicate with the department chargers to help them grow more experienced rapidly. The typical day of my work recently can be summed up to four main things which is to make plans or follow-up projects, to arrange the projects, to develop implementation scheme and to discuss about our projects with relevant chargers. What a regular day but just in these typical days our company is getting a better development.
How do you bring ideas to life?
Whenever I get good ideas, I will evaluate the difficulty level of achieving this idea with our current conditions rapidly. If it is too difficult for us now and may will have a disorganized influence on our current working rhythm, I will put it aside for this time. On the contrary, if the result is not much difficult to implement and it will have benefits for company and life, I will make a project immediately.
Normally I will divide the evaluated results into three categories which is we can make it, we can make it well and we can make it perfect. In different steps, we have different forms of work even though the working content is similar. We will develop viable plans according to each steps and accomplish the whole project by steps.
What’s one trend that really excites you?
When I have a new business idea, I will print it in my mind. If this idea can help us and our company to reach a higher level and and make our business getting a rapid expand and develop, I will be more delighted at that time.
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
To analyze and summarize our precious work and simultaneously making continuous plans allow us always be the leader in sculpture industry. This good habit also make us find our insufficient timely and we will promote it in the shortest time.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Whenever there is a new idea, just do it and try to realize it; Never give up. Because it’s a procedure in which we constantly summarize, analyze and make new plans.
Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on?
In my first year graduated from college, I made up myself to establish Vincentaa, but I was instantly denied, just because I was too young to achieve success, as they thought. It’s indeed proved to be a disadvantage, however, through constant summary, analysis and development, I successfully made up the lack of experience in a quite short period.
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
No matter what business and industry you are in and no matter how much capital you have, a million or a billion dollars, it’s necessary to plan, summarize, analyze, regulate and promote your business constantly, and devote yourself to searching for the factors which can support your enterprise with the marketing requirement and make you suitable to it, which is indispensable to exceeding your peers.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business? Please explain how.
We have developed two new brands – LuxuryMore and Lovollect. LuxuryMore is a brand majored in construction stone, while Lovollect majored in bronze artworks. We confirmed the particular customer requirements in the two brands, with the aim, we dedicated ourselves to aintegrate current marketing resource to meet their demand maximumly. Thus expanding our market shares in shorter period.
What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?
I was too hurry to dismiss my staff before they got the opportunity to perform, therefore I failed to train and conserve key staff. Taught by the lesson, I am determined to strengthen recruitment and raise the recruiting standard. I appointed department supervisors and guide them patiently, so that they can gain more coaching opportunity.

(1). Settle yourself down and open your Xmind, write down 10 problems and deficiency you can think about occur to your company.
(2). None of business ideas can acquire success without constant adjustment. Whenever there is an idea come to your mind, it’s necessary to constantly adjust it based on performing condition. The adjustment should be not only fast but also effective.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
Buying books. To grow in capability is necessary for current Vincentaa. I found that there are too many limits if only depending on knowledge-sharing within the team. It’s too low effective. I think all companies like Vincentaa should read more books.
What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive? How do you use it?
The management software now I am using covers all forums related to Marketing, Purchasing, Financing and other departments. It not only makes the checking process among each department more effective, but also improves the security of key customer sources.
