Do you like ideas? Did you have a great idea that was truly different and helped make this world a better place? Got a track record of bringing ideas to life? How are you using the Internet in your endeavors? Are you doing something really interesting that you’d like to share? You don’t have to be famous to be featured on here, just passionate about your ideas and willing to share.

We’d love to hear from you, as we’re always looking for interesting entrepreneurs, thought leaders and innovators to feature for our readers. We don’t mind if you brag a bit about what you’re doing, and we’re always happy to link back to your site or project. Last but not least, IdeaMensch profiles usually rank pretty high on Google, which is a nice reputation builder.

Fill out the form below, and we’ll evaluate your submission and get back to you with any questions.

Last but not least, please e-mail us a picture of your (at least 200*200 pixels, 72 dpi, JPG or GIF, black or white) to ideamensch at gmail.com.

If you don’t like forms, you can also send your responses to the e-mail address above. Here are the questions that we ask:

Short description – Your headline (60 characters max)
A picture (standard headshot works great, we’ll thumbnail it for our archives)
Bio – 200-500 words in third person
What are you working on right now?
3 trends that excite you?
How do you bring ideas to life?
What inspires you?
What is one mistake you’ve made, and what did you learn from it?
What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?
What is one book and one tool (i.e., piece of software) that helps you bring ideas to life?
Who would you love to see interviewed on IdeaMensch?
A professional question of your choice? (pick a question, and answer it)
A personal question of your choice? (same as above)

Ok, here’s the form:

  • A short description of yourself, no more than 10 words. This description will be used as the summary of the profile in the profile index and on the home page. This might be a title, a statement or a comma-separated list of things that define you.
  • A bio, providing information on what you do, your background, etc in third person (e.g. “John Smith is…”). The length of your bio should be between 300 and 500 words. What do you want people to know about you? Feel free to include links.
  • Interview Questions

  • This question provides you with the opportunity to talk about what you are working on or doing, generally professional and/or interest-oriented. The focus here does not have to be about your professional life (if you have one). You can highlight your non-professional projects and pursuits. Don’t overlap with your bio too much. Feel free to include links.
  • Talk about three trends that will impact you or your business that get you excited. Any insights on how those trends will impact you, and how you're planning to leverage your foresight would be great.
  • Give our readers some insight into how you get things done. You can talk about different tools you use or maybe just some personal productivity insights. Having ideas is great, but how do you bring them to life? What is the process that you go through?
  • This can be anything. A person, a part of the day, a long run, we want to know what gets your juices flowing.
  • Being successful is great. But tell us about one mistake you've made in your career, and what you learned from it.
  • What is a great book our community should know about? Also, what is one tool (like a piece of software, or a service) that helps you bring ideas to life? Please answer both.
  • You can't execute every idea. What is one really good idea that you're willing to give away to our readers. What is it, and why do you think it's a good idea.
  • We are constantly working on new and interesting interviews for our community. But we'd love to know who you'd like to see interviewed on IdeaMensch and why? Please be sure to give us a reason or two of why you'd like to see that person interviewed.
  • What question do you want asked about your work, passion, or main pursuit? This should be a question that helps pull out some professional background or information that adds depth to your profile. Please make sure to include both the question and the answer in the response field.
  • What question do you want asked about your life or your interests? This should be a question that helps pull out some personal background or information that adds depth to your profile. Feel free to include links. Please make sure to include both the question and the answer.
  • Every profile must include opportunities for the reader to reach out and connect. This is one of the primary purposes of this site. Include your preferred connection points - blog, email, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Flickr, Twitter, etc. Please include direct URLs or email addresses to share here. You do not have to include your email address, but please provide at least a few ways for the reader to reach out, whether a blog address or something else. Please include Internet connection options, not a phone number or a postal mailing address.
  • This picture needs to be square (at least 200*200) and show your face. No logos allowed.
  • Who should we interview on IdeaMensch?

Please include the e-mail addresses of up to five people you’d like to see profiled on IdeaMensch. We will send out a brief e-mail to these people with an invitation to participate. People who are referred by others are more likely to be published on the site, and people who are referring others to our community are more likely to be published sooner. This is not mandatory. But it's recommended.
