What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?
My typical day begins at 5:00am with meditation to clearly define my objectives for the day. This is followed by exercise and strength training for energy. I then have a list defined by priority and deadlines to be as productive as possible. I then review all the major finance newspapers & research report prior to moving to emails/conference calls then to calls with prospects and clients.
How do you bring ideas to life?
To bring ideas to life involves a combination of clarity, planning and action. One has to define the idea – break it down into steps – identify the team that will execute – set timeline with goals/and deadlines then track and monitor. It is important to gather feedback, collaborate and remain flexible.
What’s one trend that excites you?
The advancement in technology is very exciting including blockchain. It offers secure, decentralized way to store and transfer data. This technology will transform industries like finance, supply chain and healthcare by enabling transparent, tamper-proof transactions.
What is one habit that helps you be productive?
One habit that increases my productivity is time – blocking or breaking up the day into dedicated blocks of time for specific tasks. By assigning focused periods for work, meetings or breaks, distractions are reduced and efficiency increased.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Advice to my younger self is to be a lifelong learner, listener and team player. I would advise to embrace mistakes as learning opportunities.
Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you on?
One thing that no one seems to agree on is how to achieve work life balance. While some like strict boundaries, others prefer a more fluid approach or a portfolio allocation approach. The ideal balance varies widely depending on individual preference, career demands and personal values. I embrace the fluid approach.
What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?
Exercise is critical to productivity and health. No matter how much is done daily exercise should be part of the daily routine.
When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?
It is very helpful to exercise – go for a walk and practice mindfulness for a reset. Then break things down into smaller tasks. By focusing on one thing at a time.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?
One strategy is to create a team of advisors, mentors and sponsors.
What is one failure in your career, how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?
Failures are key to learning. For me one specific learning opportunity was not advocating for myself early enough. It led to burnout and missing opportunities for growth. The lessons learned was setting boundaries, communicating needs and asserting oneself. As success requires working smart, collaborating and seeking help when needed.

Software that increases productivity is the app -notion- it is an all in one workspace that manages projects. It includes note taking, databases and collaboration tools. It is customizable and flexible allowing users to streamline workflow.
Do you have a favorite book or podcast you’ve gotten a ton of value from and why?
Favorite book to date is Atomic Habits by James Clear. It offers practical evidence based strategies for making lasting changes in behavior. The book breaks down the process of habit formation into simple steps focusing on small improvements.
What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?
A 2024 documentary is “the deepest breath’ from netflix. The film focuses on competitive free diving. The film showcases the mental and physical challenges of thes port and discusses human stories behind it.
