What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?
My day usually starts around 6:00 a.m. with a good breakfast and some planning. I go over my weekly goals: both small things like emails and errands, and bigger ones like budgeting or tracking investments. Once I wrap up for the day, I unwind with a show, movie, or podcast.
How do you bring ideas to life?
I like to break ideas down into simple steps. Creating a clear plan with bullet points helps me stay organized and make adjustments if something doesn’t go as expected.
What’s one trend that excites you?
Artificial intelligence. I’m fascinated by how AI can pull data in real time to help businesses and investors make smarter decisions. I don’t believe in full automation, but I think AI as a support tool is revolutionary.
What is one habit that helps you be productive?
Setting timers. Short breaks keep me refreshed and help prevent burnout when I’m working through long tasks.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest soccer player of all time. Most people lean toward Lionel Messi, but to me, Cristiano Ronaldo has proven himself in tougher leagues and still holds the edge with more career goals. His versatility and longevity set him apart.
Tell us something you believe that almost nobody agrees with you on.
Take initiative and be present. Those two things open more doors than you realize. Being proactive and engaged builds confidence and shows people they can count on you.
What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?
Stay active and challenge yourself. Whether it’s a tough workout or a new skill, pushing past your limits builds resilience and confidence.
When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?
I slow down and focus on my breathing. Once I reset, I pick one thing to tackle first. Staying present helps me get back into a rhythm.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?
Leading by example. When people see you take initiative and work hard, it inspires them to do the same. It’s the best way to build trust and motivate a team.
What is one failure in your career, how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?
I missed out on a promotion once, which pushed me to ask for feedback and develop the skills I was missing. The experience taught me that setbacks can be great opportunities for growth.
What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?
A concept called Fresh!, a fast food spot focused on fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, where customers can build their own bowls or smoothies. Healthy, quick, and affordable!
What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?
My laptop. It keeps me focused and free from distractions, unlike my phone, which is constantly buzzing with notifications.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
A share of Vanguard’s Large-Cap Index Fund. It performed better than I expected and sparked my interest in market research and wealth management.
Do you have a favorite book or podcast you’ve gotten a ton of value from and why?
Can’t Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds by David Goggins. His mindset on discipline and pushing past mental barriers really hit home. His “40% rule” reminds me that we’re capable of much more than we think.
What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?
Ted Lasso. It’s uplifting, funny, and full of lessons about leadership and optimism. I love how Ted’s kindness transforms everyone around him—and that “Be a goldfish” moment always sticks with me.
