What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?
A typical day start with a 4:30 am wake-up call to prepare for my apprenticeship, which lasts until 5:00. After work is my gym workout (two to three days a week), followed by a game of basketball. On the weekends, I attend local college sports events, such as basketball or football events.
How do you bring ideas to life?
I approach it directly. If it is something I desire, I will set aside the time or financial resources to ensure its completion. I research the subject idea and see if there is a need or gap for what I want to bring to life.
What’s one trend that excites you?
Online e-commerce excites me. You have access to a global marketplace. The setup cost to establish an e-commerce business is also low. I have used various e-commerce websites to market products such as sneakers and clothing.
What is one habit that helps you be productive?
Staying focused on the goal helps me to keep focus.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Draw close to my family and God. My parents are the authority figure that God placed in my life, not my friends. In times of trouble, family is what’s there. I also would focus on being a better player. I would tell my younger self to take the basketball failures and use them to transform into a better athlete. The best lessons learned in sports are from the losses.
What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?
Don’t let one mistake define your entire life. I learn from my mistakes and move on. If I spend so much time on the past, I won’t have time for the future.
When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?
I use sports (in particular, basketball and golf) to help bring me back into focus.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?
I harness the power of the internet to analyse the latest trends. I then use those trends in product offerings via various e-commerce websites that I sell on.
What is one failure in your career, how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?
I internalized the losses. Because of that, I got discouraged. I changed my mindset by focusing on how to improve my game from the failures. I also would view video footage of my games to see where I went wrong. I apply this skill in my apprenticeship and in everyday life today.
What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?
A platform and movement that teaches professionals and entrepreneurs how to use financial literacy not just for compliance but for intentional life design.
The concept:
• Simplify complex financial and tax systems into practical, empowering frameworks.
• Combine strategy, mindset, and accountability.
• Help individuals and business owners make decisions aligned with long-term freedom, not short-term pressure.
• Bridge the gap between technical expertise and real-world application.
The impact:
• Stronger businesses.
• More confident decision-makers.
• Reduced financial anxiety.
• Generational wealth built intentionally, not accidentally.
What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?
Apple Wallet.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
The best $100 spent was on food when I travel. I love traveling for two reasons: food and cultural experience. I love trying new foods. In fact, you can call me an “unofficial” food critic.
Do you have a favorite book or podcast you’ve gotten a ton of value from and why?
I love podcast about sports and money. There are too many to list.
