I’m excited by the health trends of nutritional supplements, in addition to exercise as an enhancer of both physical and mental health.

Being able to stay consistent with my routine has been critical in my ability to stay productive.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Anything worth having takes time, energy, and patience.

Free will probably doesn’t exist in the way most people think it does.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

Good diet and regular exercise, as they are critical to living a long, happy, healthy life.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

Taking a break, deep breathing, and prayer.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

Constant reading and research into the field of psychiatry has been crucial in my ability to stay up to date in the field.

What is one failure in your career, how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?

Succumbing to burnout. I found myself taking on every patient who was referred to me and became overwhelmed by the work. I have since done my best to establish clear boundaries and am not afraid to ask for help when needed.

What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?

A daycare that takes care of both your kids and your dogs while you’re at work.

What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

Apple Notes app. I find myself using it for everything from shopping lists to errands, making to-do lists, and just about everything else. It has become critical to my productivity.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

Health supplements. I feel infinitely better when I take my supplement stack, which improves my energy, focus, metabolism, stress, and sleep.

Do you have a favorite book or podcast you’ve gotten a ton of value from and why?

I love reading as a mental escape from reality, and I have been enthralled by the series by Dan Brown that includes “The DaVinci Code.”

What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?

I recently watched a Netflix series called “His & Hers” and was so captivated by the plot twists. I love shows that are all about critical thinking.
