What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

I start my day early, checking analytics and reports over coffee. Data tells me everything—what’s working, what needs adjustment, and what’s trending in search rankings. Then I dive into client projects, whether it’s optimizing websites, improving ad campaigns, or helping realtors get more exposure online. Afternoons are for calls and strategy sessions. I make my day productive by prioritizing high-impact tasks and automating whatever I can.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I test everything. An idea is worthless if it stays in your head. I launch small experiments, track results, and adjust fast. Whether it’s a new SEO strategy, an ad campaign, or a real estate networking tool, I put it into action and let the data decide if it’s worth scaling.

What’s one trend that excites you?

AI-driven SEO. Search engines are getting smarter, and Google’s algorithms favor human-like, high-quality content. The days of keyword stuffing are over. I love that businesses now have to focus on real value, good storytelling, and user experience to rank higher.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

Blocking out distraction-free work time. I batch similar tasks together—analytics in the morning, client calls in the afternoon, content creation in the evening. Constant task-switching kills productivity.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Stop overthinking and take action sooner. I spent too much time researching and second-guessing myself in the beginning. The real learning happens when you actually do the work.

Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you on?

SEO isn’t just about rankings. People get obsessed with being number one on Google, but if your site doesn’t convert visitors into customers, it’s useless. The real goal is business growth, not just traffic.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

Invest in your digital presence. Your website, Google Business profile, and social media pages are your online storefront. I see too many businesses treating them like an afterthought. Your digital brand is your first impression—make it count.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

I go for a drive or hit the gym. Stepping away from the screen helps me reset. Some of my best ideas come when I’m not actively thinking about work.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

Building relationships. SEO and digital marketing are crowded spaces, but the best leads come from referrals. I make it a point to help people, connect with realtors, and deliver results that speak for themselves.

What is one failure in your career,  how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?

I once took on too many projects at once, thinking I could handle everything. Quality suffered, and I lost clients because I was stretched too thin. It was a wake-up call. Now, I focus on scalable systems and only taking on work where I can guarantee results.

What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?

A hyper-local real estate lead generation site. Most realtors rely on generic lead platforms, but if you built a city-specific, SEO-driven lead funnel, you could capture leads before they go to Zillow or Realtor.com.

What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

Google Search Console. It’s free and insanely powerful. It tells me exactly what people are searching for, how websites are performing, and where quick SEO wins are.

Do you have a favorite book or podcast you’ve gotten a ton of value from and why?

“The One Thing” by Gary Keller. It completely changed how I prioritize my work. Instead of trying to do ten things at once, I focus on the one task that will have the biggest impact each day.

What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?

I really liked “The Social Dilemma.” It’s a deep dive into how social media shapes the way we think and do business. As someone in digital marketing, it was eye-opening to see both the power and the risks of online platforms.
