
Anthony Imperioso served the Woburn Police Department in Woburn, Massachusetts, as a police officer from 2003 through most of 2020. He managed an array of responsibilities during his time with the department, from facilitating law enforcement investigations as a school resource officer to executing community outreach projects designed to promote positivity between the public and law enforcement. Anthony Imperioso developed numerous skills while serving the department, including conflict resolution, team collaboration, leadership, and emergency response. Before joining the Woburn Police Department in 2003, he gained experience as an officer with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Higher Education and the United States Customs Service’s internal affairs division.
Mr. Imperioso studied political science at the University of Massachusetts. In addition to his degree, he completed a British criminal criminal justice course at Oxford University. He concluded his education at Western New England University, earning a master of science in criminal justice administration. He has balanced his law enforcement work with several community organization memberships, including his work with the Sons of Italy of Massachusetts and the Dante Alighieri Italian Cultural Association of Massachusetts. He enjoys staying active through alpine skiing.
