What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

I usually start my day very early. I take a calm corner and grab my coffee. I start by reading some news then I plan my day’s objectives. Mornings are usually for strategic discussions with the leadership team and project reviews, ensuring that each decision aligns with the company’s values of precision, quality, and accountability.

How do you bring ideas to life?

Ideas only have value when paired with disciplined execution. At GET, I fostered a culture where creative engineering concepts are stress-tested against practical realities on the ground. Approach combines vision with technical rigor turning bold designs into structures that endure and mostly that please our clients.

What’s one trend that excites you?

It is very important in our world to be innovative and up to date. The growing integration of sustainable design and construction technology is key for success. The use of eco-friendly materials, digital site management tools, and AI driven planning systems are transforming how infrastructure is built and maintained. In fact, this is not just as innovation, but as responsibility, a shift toward building with conscience.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

Consistency and perseverance. I approach every day with the same discipline, whether it’s a board meeting or a site visit. Boxing, one of my lifelong passions has reinforced this mindset. Success, in both sport and business, comes from repetition, precision, and resilience.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Stay patient—great outcomes are built layer by layer. I would remind my younger self that ambition is valuable only when balanced with humility and perseverance.

Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you on?

Success should be quiet. In a world that often celebrates speed and visibility, we should value the power of discretion letting work, not words in a loud voice.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

No matter how high your position is, be present and listen at every level. I always revisit the fundamentals – reading blueprints, visiting worksites, and staying close to the technical heart of the business.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

Boxing, nature and art are my therapy. The rhythm of boxing helps clear the mind, while art provides balance and perspective. Nature is like brain washing from all negativities and laziness.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

The credit for GET’s rapid growth is to a relentless focus on integrity and trust. In construction, an industry built on long timelines and complex commitments, credibility is the true currency. I built relationships through transparency and by always delivering what was promised, even in challenging circumstances.

What is one failure in your career,  how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?

Earlier in my career, a major project faced significant delays due to external disruptions. Instead of assigning blame, I led a full internal review, restructuring project management processes and communication lines. The setback became a turning point that strengthened GET’s operational resilience.

There is no success without failure. What is important not to stay trapped in this failure but to learn from it to avoid falling in it again. You cannot be right in all what you do. When you accept this reality, failure will make you stronger and wiser. Don’t enter into blame game, it will waste your time and energy. Setbacks could become a turning point that strengthens your work or plans. Failure, if examined honestly, can be the most valuable engineer of success.

What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?

I believe the next frontier in construction lies in predictive maintenance and AI driven infrastructure monitoring. Integrating sensors and analytics into building systems will revolutionize how cities manage their assets, turning maintenance into foresight. The focus of construction should be in this direction. It is all about technology.

What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

Project management and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Primavera P6 SAP are central to our work. They allow to oversee large-scale operations with real-time insights balancing detail with the broader strategic picture.

Do you have a favorite book or podcast you’ve gotten a ton of value from and why?

Reading is a sort of meditation for me. I have read so many insightful books throughout my life. Each book gives a lesson or insight, even if it is a romance novel. The monk who sold his Ferrari was a wakeup call in order to pay attention to matters in life other than work and meetings.

What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?

She walks in darkness” Spanish film out in 2025. I liked it because it is a true drama story, about ideology and the principle of law. It shows how much sacrifice the antagonists are ready to sacrifice each for its own convictions.
