Coco Taps created the zero waste ultimate vacation beverage B2B distribution that’s now in major 5 star resorts, juice bars, restaurants and often part of music festivals. Our goal is to disrupt the status quo and innovate the beverage industry by tapping into the resorts, retail, theme park and cruise industries.
It all started one day when CocoVinny broke his dad’s expensive knife while trying to open a coconut. After much research, he realized there was nothing on the market offering a no mess, no stress way to turn a coconut into an all-natural, drinkable & resealable container. Bottled and canned drinks for me never justified all natural taste of coconut water. This is how Coco Taps was born!
Two extensive years of research was devoted to developing a toolkit that could make coconuts resealable for up to 4 weeks. After obtaining patents and manufacturing, Coco Taps Tool kit was created along with the Coco Taps coconut water beverage production system and first zero waste tapping facility.
No bottles, no cans and no pollution just fresh tapped coconuts. It’s all about keeping in alignment and partnering with mother nature with great taste and zero waste.
People love CocoVinny and Coco Taps coconuts because they taste amazing, they cut the carbon footprint of traditional pasteurized and packaged coconuts by eliminating wasteful processing of cartons, cans, and plastic bottles that end up in our ocean and landfills.
Where did the idea for your company come from?
I hated the taste of packaged processed coconut water and broke my step dad’s knife on a coconut and thought there has to be a better way. After buying my Step dad Bill a whole new set of Knives I started to think why not just put the top of a water bottle into a coconut? Then we realized by doing that we could eliminate all the processing and packaging that is destroying the taste of coconut water and also destroying our oceans and landfills in the world. So for me it was a win win value proposition to go All in and become CocoVinny working towards making people and the planet healthier and happier one coconut at a time.
What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
I usually start my day with some kind of mindset and vision mission preparation of what I would like to happen and if I get a workout than its even better. Everyday is a mystery and exciting coco adventure.
How do you bring ideas to life?
We Think them Speak them and then act on the beliefs to make them real.
What’s one trend that excites you?
I get so excited about solving giant problems and right now the environment is in really bad shape with everything that is going on so Helping people and the Planet one coconut at a time is what drives me daily.
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
Whenever things get tough and you get knocked down, the habit of not staying down and always getting back up is key. “Every set back is a setup for a comeback”

Smile and don’t take yourself of things too seriously
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?
Surrounding myself with mentors and positive people is key to getting things done and over coming adversity
What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?
I feel that when I was on Shark Tank and didn’t get a deal that I was pretty much a goner but after I cried and grew from that experience I became even more tapped in to our mission vision and passion for Why it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks or believes we are succeeding anyways.
What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?
I think that there’s a huge opportunity in the ZERO Waste and sustainability sector for consulting, products, and many other sectors.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
I recently invested in a bunch of new books Kiss the Ground, Regenerative Business, and the Clean Money Revolution. This $100 got me 3 amazing books and even though I may not finish them all I’ve already become a better person and learned so much for the first few chapters.
What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?
Honestly Instagram and Facebook are the best platforms for me because I can share and curate content about our company in real time and it teaches me how to not think too much and just hit record.
What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?
I would Highly recommend Kiss The Ground by Josh Tickle it really opened my eyes as to how much more we need to be doing to build soil and take care of the planet ASAP.
