What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
I wake up, work out, day trade, learn something new, do emails and phone calls, then I always have time where I can ponder and think I about the future and what new things I can work towards!
How do you bring ideas to life?
I first think about them, then write them down, then breakdown a plan with step by step directions on how I can get there. Then I start by putting goals and time lines on my calendar. It’s very effective.
What’s one trend that excites you?
I really like the lip liner that’s coming back out. I also love how people are reverting back to Al’ Natural! The plastic injections and additives to your body, is just not in anymore.
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
I wake up at 5:30 am and work out first thing. I also always plan my week on Sunday to put everything on my calendar that I must get done. Priorities first – even though I’m not always perfect at it… lol … If it doesn’t get done, I move it to tomorrow.
What advice would you give your younger self?
To get more sleep, wake up early, don’t drink alcohol, and to watch what I listen to and watch on tv and social media. It’s amazing how much of what we as consumers intake and consume affects us tremendously.
Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.
That Emilys are the BEST ! Lol …. I’m just messing 🙂
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
I pray and do manifestation sessions in complete solitude. It helps to re-ground me and structure my priorities and goals to materialize.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?
Making sure I have funds to finance everything. Budgeting is something I am constantly working on and improving. I feel we as individuals will grow in all aspects of our life if we are organized and structured with finances and our routine and schedules.
What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?
I failed severely by trying to get too big too quick. I had to pause, start over, re-brand, then make-do. Even though I had to start all over again- I was able to understand what I did wrong and correct it. Many times, people just quit at that moment. That’s the time when you should try again.
What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?
Invent a technology that would allow you to have the device move objects for you and do mundane tasks for you – it would be the best invention yet!
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
The best $100 that I’ve spent recently professionally, and personally, is the membership for IM Academy… It’s an online school where you can take courses and learning how to Day Trade. It’s incredible! It teaches you everything you need to know inside and out, along with all different styles of day trading.
What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?
I use my calendar on my phone connected to my email . That really is a life-saver.
What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?
A Universe from Nothing: Why There Is NOTHING by Lawrence Krauss ~
Something Rather than Nothing. I’m reading this book now and it’s fascinating. It really helps guide you to come up with more or an understanding where we came from and what all this means.
