Foxxy is passionate about empowering women to develop unbridled courage, confidence and self-worth to reclaim their true essence of who they are.
She creates space for women to give themselves permission to believe in themselves and rediscover who they are (beyond being a mother, wife, business person etc.)
Foxxy’s background has been a struggle between a very strict religious up-bringing, having low self-esteem and her controversial job as a professional exotic dancer. She now integrates her life experience and background along with her extensive research and study into personal-development, spirituality, energy-work and how the mind works, into all that she does.
She, like many women. had been taught from a young age to restrain her natural abilities and female attributes. Having been abused emotionally, put down and shamed by her mentally ill mother, Foxxy now understands that not processing and integrating emotions mean they stay in your body and show up as aches, pain and dis-ease.
From a young age, Foxxy understood that the simple art of movement is the quickest and most effective way to tap into your body’s wisdom. She now teaches and coaches women in 1:1 sessions, workshops and retreats. She is creator of The 9 Archetypes (Behaviours) To Your Inner Power, which she uses as a tool in her signature program – Reclaim Your Sass.
Foxxy loves to create experiential, educational and transformational experiences. She is a Speaker, Intuitive Facilitator, Master Coach, NLP & Hypnosis Trainer, Energy Healer and soon to be Author.
Her mission is to co-create with other likeminded women and help 100,000 women across the planet to find the courage and belief in themselves to live a life beyond their wildest dreams.
Where did the idea for Love Life Matters come from?
It describes what we do. It’s about ‘love’, ‘life’, and that they both ‘matter’.
What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
I have different days of the week to focus mainly on one thing, eg Monday is to create and administration, Tuesday and Thursday is to do marketing, Wednesday and Friday to deliver coaching, counselling. I start the day with gratitude and intentions by going over my plan of action.
How do you bring ideas to life?
I research what others are doing and get feedback from clients. I do my best to figure it out on paper, then I go for a walk, dance, run and let the inspiration come, or sleep on it overnight.
What’s one trend that excites you?
Women desiring to step up into their greatness.
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
I take breaks from my work, that’s when I find I get more done in the timeframe. I am focused for short periods – 1 to 2 hours at a time. A break is get up move my body, go for a walk, a bike ride or physical task.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Quit second-guessing yourself and go with your heart’s desire.
Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.
Everyone is a reflection of ourselves, and if we don’t like they way others treat us, then we need to change how we act and feel about ourselves first… so it changes the energy exchange (in other words they will treat us differently).
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
Set intention of what you want to achieve, before every project and task.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?
Let go of the ‘how’ and focus on the ‘outcome’. For example I wanted to run a Women’s retreat during COVID, but then feared it would not be possible, because of lockdowns. But I surrendered, and let go of ‘how’ I thought I should go about it, (eg when to set the date), and it ended up happening organically and with ease. What I mean by this, is, I met one person who was interested in helping out, and then another, and they invited someone, and it all unfolded.
What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?
Stopping from taking action, because I didn’t see the results I wanted immediately. I had to have the faith to keep taking action. In other words, I had to learn to ‘believe in myself’, and follow my intuition, and the biggest thing – not give up!
What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?
Best idea is to ensure you do something that you’re good at and enjoy. Think of the skills you have, that you take yourself for granted for. Eg. teaching people how to use their voice and sing.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
Believe it or not… spent it on ‘marriage counselling’ for my partner and I (even though myself and husband are relationship specialists)
What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?
I value using Active Campaign (CRM for email list). I use to track clients progress and keep in touch with clients and potential clients.
What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?
“Ask” by Ryan Levesque. It helps you discover what your customers want to buy.
What is your favorite quote?
“Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.” – Albert Einstein
Key Learnings:
• Realise REAL change happens inside yourself first.
• Be willing to feel into your emotions, not suppress them, so you can heal
• Embrace the parts you don’t like about yourself, as much as the parts you do like.
• Listen to your body. It is a shortcut to emotional healing.
