Garyn Angel is the Founder and CEO of MagicalButter.

Angel oversees the strategic direction of the Seattle-based, technology company. MagicalButter manufactures its own brand of appliances, sells online marketing through its affiliate websites, and has their own apparel line. MagicalButter has offices in Seattle, Blaine, Tampa, and Hong Kong.

Before taking the helm at MagicalButter, Angel held the position as President of G. Angel & Associates, Inc., a leading Advanced Estate Planning and Tax Specialty firm. In 2008, Reuters honored Garyn at a Gala Dinner and named him one of the Top Advisors in the country.

He has chaired several philanthropic organizations; his favorite two charitable organizations are Hospice and the Boys and Girls Club.

A native of Florida, Angel earned a B.A. of Finance degree from the University of South Florida and completed the College for Financial Planning Program at Florida State University.

What are you working on right now?

The MB2 underwent a complete overhaul for 2014, new filter bag, silicone glove, and packaging. Beginning February 1st the MB2 will be available in 220V. April 2014 MagicalButter Apparel line is being expanded. The MB3 will be released in the 2nd quarter of 2014, now includes Bluetooth integration.Expanding our product line to include Purify Filter Bags, The Glove, and the MBPro 4th quarter 2014

What does your typical day look like?

From 5-10 am every morning is devoted to facebook, or scouring the internet for content for our facebook page. Once I get to our studio I don’t know what will happen. Sometimes it’s foosball and wiffle ball, sometimes there’s no lunch till 4 pm.

What are 3 trends that excite you?

Medicinal cannabis becoming a mainstream dietary supplement.
How technology and appliances are integrating and creating so many new opportunities.
Tesla and anything else Elon Musk thinks up.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I draw it in my head. I get so deep in my own world that I am actually using it. I see it, feel it, touch it, smell it. Then I figure out how to build it.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by happiness. I try to focus on the most positive possible outcome. My family and friends are always smiling, I like happy people.

What is one mistake you’ve made, and what did you learn from it?

I’ve made so many mistakes in my life I don’t want to try and figure out what my biggest failure was. I would like to think I learned from most of my mistakes.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Open a chain of cannabis analysis laboratories in New Jersey to allow safer access to medicinal cannabis.

What do you read every day, and why?

I’m all over the place, depends on the day. I read all day every day.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read, and why?

The Green Mile, it’s such an emotional story.

What is your favorite gadget, app or piece of software that helps you every day?

I have too many to pick one? We have some fun pieces of equipment. My iPhone is probably the most useful gadget I have ever owned.

Elon Musk – The greatest visionary of our time, changed e-commerce with PayPal, replaced NASA with SpaceX, built the greatest vehicle ever made Tesla Model S, and co-founded SolarCity the largest solar company in America.
Bill Gates – He posts interesting content. I feel like he actually might be the one doing the posts.

20 minutes ago listening to Chris in the Mr. Butter Costume freestyling. The kid is an amazing talent.

What is the most significant thing people need to understand about cannabis?

Cannabidiol, CBD, I believe it is the greatest discovery to mankind in the history of medicine.
