What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

My day is all about finding balance. Mornings usually start early with getting the kids ready for school and checking emails. Once I get into work mode, I organize my day based on priorities. Whether it’s leading meetings or engaging with clients, I make sure every action I take brings value. By keeping clear goals in mind and sticking to a schedule, I can maximize my productivity without sacrificing family time. My evenings are reserved for family, and I always find time to edit videos, which gives me that creative outlet I need after a busy day.

How do you bring ideas to life?

For me, ideas come to life through storytelling. Whether I’m working on a new sales strategy or editing a family vacation video, I always start with the story I want to tell. I’ll sketch out the structure and details, whether it’s a business presentation or a video timeline. Once I have a clear vision, I rely on my creativity and the right tools to bring it to life. I find joy in piecing together moments that resonate with people, whether it’s a client or my audience on YouTube.

What’s one trend that excites you?

The growth of video content, especially personalized travel vlogs, excites me. People are documenting their own lives more than ever, and the technology available now makes it accessible for everyone to create something high-quality. It’s a perfect blend of creativity and accessibility, which is why I think this trend is going to keep evolving.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

Staying organized is key. I make detailed to-do lists for everything, from work tasks to personal projects. It sounds simple, but crossing off each item keeps me focused and gives me a sense of accomplishment. This habit also ensures I’m never overwhelmed, as I can visually track what needs to be done and when.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Take more risks. There were opportunities in my younger years that I hesitated on, and looking back, I realize I should have been bolder. Trusting your instincts and being willing to step outside your comfort zone can lead to incredible growth, both personally and professionally.

Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you on?

I believe that vacations should be documented as if you’re creating a movie. Most people are content with snapping a few photos, but I think capturing the full experience through video not only keeps the memory alive longer but also lets you relive the emotions and moments that photos alone can’t capture.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

I take time to disconnect from the digital world to connect with my family. While I love creating content and staying connected online, it’s essential to have moments where you step away from screens and focus on the people right in front of you. It’s a habit I recommend everyone adopt, even if just for an hour a day.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

I’ll take a walk or spend time outdoors with my kids. Nature and family always help clear my mind and put things into perspective. It gives me the reset I need to come back focused and ready to tackle whatever’s ahead of me.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

Building strong relationships has been critical. Whether in sales or video production, success comes from understanding people’s needs and creating genuine connections. I’ve always taken the time to listen, build trust, and offer value, and this has been a major part of my growth.

What is one failure in your career,  how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?

Early in my sales career, I took on a project without fully understanding the scope. I ended up overpromising and under delivering. It was a tough lesson, but I learned the importance of setting realistic expectations and being transparent from the start. Now, I always ensure that I fully grasp the details before committing to something.

What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Create a platform that helps families document their travels with ease. A service that provides not only easy-to-use editing software but also a way to print and package family travel videos into keepsakes. There’s a growing demand for this type of personalized content.

What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

VideoStudio Pro is my go-to for video editing. It allows me to bring my creative ideas to life without any technical limitations. I use it for everything from my YouTube content to personal family videos, and it’s been a game-changer in how I manage my passion for storytelling.

Do you have a favorite book or podcast you’ve gotten a ton of value from and why?

One book that has always stuck with me is “Start with Why” by Simon Sinek. It’s an inspiring read that helped me understand the importance of purpose in everything you do. Whether in sales or video creation, knowing why you’re doing something fuels motivation and guides decisions.

What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?

I recently watched “The Last Dance” about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. It’s not just about basketball—it’s about discipline, focus, and what it takes to be the best. I found it incredibly inspiring, especially when thinking about my own work ethic and creative pursuits.
