An experienced healthcare executive and board director based in Newport Beach, California, Jeffrey Goffman has served as a partner at the private equity firm Webster Equity Partners since 2023. His career has included work in multi-state and multi-site ancillary services and physician practice management sectors such as oncology, radiology, primary care, and pediatrics. At Webster Equity Partners, Jeffrey Goffman oversees investing and development processes for various patient-focused healthcare organizations.
Initially, Jeffrey Goffman joined the Webster family of companies in 2020 as the vice chairman of OneGI. In addition to his work at Webster Equity Partners, he sits on the board of several Webster portfolio businesses.
Jeffrey Goffman received his accounting degree from the University of Hartford. He has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare services industry, particularly in physician practice management and hospital joint ventures. His past positions include chief executive officer and co-founder of Integrated Oncology Network, LLC, and chief executive officer and founder of U.S. Diagnostic, Inc.
What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?
I work with executives and management teams, assisting them to develop strategic plans and execute on those plans.

By clarifying my idea, planning my approach, validating my idea, and then taking action on it.

What advice would you give your younger self?
Take your time to assess risks in business decisions. There are always unforeseen risks, and planning to minimize risks will ensure success.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?
Stay active and take care of yourself with exercise. If you are not mentally and physically healthy, you cannot succeed.
When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?
Get organized. Step back to focus, maybe even go for a walk, meditate, or exercise.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?
The 3 “P’s.” 1. Passion – you will only succeed if you have passion for what you are doing. 2. Preparation – you need to prepare for every initiative and know your business and strategy better than anyone else. 3. Perseverance – there will be challenges, and you need to stay focused and demonstrate the intestinal fortitude to persevere.
What is one failure in your career, how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?
We all fail. It is not a question if we will fail but what we do to learn from that and to grow. There is a great speech that Denzel Washington gave at the University of Penn commencement about “Fall Forward.” It is inspiring, true, and everyone in business should watch it.
What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?
MS Outlook. It helps me stay on task with the day-to-day, not just with e-mails but sending and scheduling meetings.
