What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?
My days vary, depending on what I have scheduled. I start by getting in my workout, get showered and changed, have my daily caffeine fix, then start work. Sometimes, I’ll work remotely. Most of the time, I’ll commute to the office. My workday usually consists of following up on emails, meeting with my hiring managers, and communicating with potential candidates to discuss their job qualifications. I try to be done with work by 5:00 pm the latest.
How do you bring ideas to life?
Through collaboration and communication. I like to run ideas off of my colleagues and take those visions to the next level. I like to move on ideas quickly, but they may take some strategic planning. I am passionate about creating an environment where good ideas are at least given a chance. Most importantly, I want my team to feel that they are listened to and heard.

I am excited to see industries revolutionize through technology. Markets are very competitive. I would like to see how organizations can remain competitive through the use of technology, while remaining in compliance.
What is one habit that helps you be productive?
I enjoy working out and engaging in physical activities. I’m somewhat of a sports fan. My favorite sport is baseball. I’m a New York Yankees fan! I practice relatively-healthy eating habits. I try to drink plenty of water to flush out toxins in the body. Keeping in shape to sustain my energy levels is what keeps me productive.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?
I recommend that you try something different as often as you can. You never know what you may like. Start conversations with different people. There are so many people in the world with different points of views and perspectives.
When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?
I try to refocus and re-enter by taking a break from whatever task I am doing. I practice breathing exercises and meditation. If work is overwhelming, I’ll ask for assistance or see if I can delegate tasks. It’s also important to set boundaries. Establish limits on your work hours.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?
Make small improvements daily. Don’t rush to make decisions unless it is absolutely necessary. Aside from that, I stay up to date with current trends and topics in my field. I try to attend seminars or take courses on my own time. Also, finding a mentor is very helpful.
What is one failure in your career, how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?
In the past, I’ve hired a few wrong people for positions that they were not necessarily the best fit for. Today, I spend a lot more time screening candidates and asking them more probing questions. I spend more time inquiring about qualifications and the type of person that I’m looking to hire. I want to make sure that the opportunity is a good fit for both parties.
