What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

My typical day starts with a morning coffee to wake up. While sipping on it, I check my emails and set priorities for the day. After that, I spend time with my son; it is a great time for us to chat, play, or even watch a cartoon together. Once we’ve enjoyed our morning together, I drop him off at preschool and then head to the office. Despite the option to work from home, I think it is important to spend time with colleagues and build connections.

How do you bring ideas to life?

Once we have an idea worth pursuing, I work closely with my team to break it down into smaller, manageable tasks. We set clear goals and deadlines to keep everyone on track and make sure to maintain open lines of communication throughout the process, so we can address any challenges and adjust our approach as needed.

What’s one trend that excites you?

One trend that really excites me lately is the concept of FAST, which stands for Free Ad-supported Streaming TV. FAST is revolutionizing the way we consume television by offering a familiar linear experience without the traditional costs. What makes FAST so exciting is that it redefines our entertainment experience, making it more accessible and (in a way) personalized. It combines the best of traditional TV and modern streaming platforms, allowing us to enjoy a wide range of content without breaking the bank.
I believe that FAST has the potential to reshape the TV landscape and bring about a new era of entertainment.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

It may sound very trivial, but for effective management of processes and projects, the Kanban board works best – at least in my case.

What advice would you give your younger self?

The advice I would give to my younger self would be to nurture a natural curiosity about the world. I would encourage myself to touch, taste, and experience various things to fully develop and grow. It’s important to maintain a positive attitude towards people and cultivate a beautiful childlike curiosity, which is often lacking in adults. This allows for openness to new experiences and building deeper connections with others.

Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you.

I believe that pineapple is a fantastic topping for pizza, and almost nobody agrees with me! (Please do not ban me from visiting Italy).

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

One thing I repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do is to find a mentor – someone whose best qualities align with your aspirations to become a better person. Every relationship we have offers some value, and it’s up to us to make the most of it. Having a mentor can provide guidance, inspiration, and support, helping us grow and achieve our personal and professional goals.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

I believe that taking a moment for self-reflection and having an internal dialogue, or even just enjoying some quiet time is important. Negative emotions are not good allies, especially when working with people, so a walk serves as an excellent way to clear my mind and regain focus.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

One strategy that has helped me grow my business and advance in my career is surrounding myself with people who bring out the best version of me – those who, seeing my passion and commitment, don’t want to extinguish it, but rather cheer me on.
It might sound like a coaching cliché, but the truth is that if you’re the smartest person in the room, it means you’re in the wrong room.

What is one failure in your career, how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?

I believe my biggest mistake was attempting to oversee an excessive number of operational details within the company’s structure, which often resulted in delayed problem-solving due to the sheer volume of issues. Although this still occasionally happens, it is crucial to recognize and fully trust the value that your team brings in such situations.

What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?

I wouldn’t recommend a specific business path, as it’s important for everyone to choose something that truly interests them.

My personal approach is as follows: close your eyes and imagine your dream business structure, its departments, people, clients, and contractors. Once you have this “dream” image in your head, remove all the positions you imagined and think about having to do everything yourself. It may take many months, many frustrating moments, days, and nights before you achieve even a fraction of what you’ve envisioned. If you still think you could do it with a smile, then that’s the idea worth considering.

What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

One piece of software that helps me be productive is any tool that facilitates organizing and prioritizing tasks. Personally, as I’ve mentioned before, I find a physical board to be highly effective in boosting my productivity. It provides a constant overview of what needs to be done, allowing me to adjust my work pace accordingly and ultimately making my work more productive.

What is the best $100 you recently spent?

The best $100 I recently spent was used to support my child’s greatest passion: kart racing. He loves it, and I’m proud to say he is really good at it. So, I decided that we would choose a helmet together that would provide safety (which is important to me) and have the right color scheme (which is more important to him).

Do you have a favorite book or podcast from which you’ve received much value?

It’s interesting because both my favorite book and podcast share the same title, “Masters of Scale,” by Reid Hoffman. This insightful resource provides valuable lessons and strategies from successful entrepreneurs and leaders, making it a go-to source of inspiration and guidance for me.

What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?

I recently enjoyed the series “Drive to Survive.” As I mentioned earlier, my son is currently passionate about Formula racing, which naturally piques my interest as well. I started watching the series to share conversation topics with him, and it turned out to be an incredibly well-made and engaging show.

  • Be open to new trends and innovations, which has the potential to reshape industries.
  • Surround yourself with people who bring out the best version of you, and find a mentor whose qualities align with your aspirations.
