What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?
My typical day is getting up early and doing what I have planned the day before for the most part, but it’s usually very, very fluid. So, I have to adjust to whatever the day brings me, whether it be good or bad and try to make the most of the situation in front of me.
How do you bring ideas to life?
I bring my ideas to life by planning/visualizing what I need to do to. First help my family and myself and then to help others. It’s funny; when you look to help others first, helping yourself seems to follow.

The advice I would give my younger self is to be more patient understand where I’m from and how to accept my background but also learn from others. Took me a while to figure that out, but once I did, my success was inevitable.
Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you on?
So, people don’t understand where I come from that I can forgive anybody for pretty much anything as long as they don’t do anything to hurt me for their own benefit. People are amazed at how I forgive and let things go, but if they didn’t do anything to hurt me for their own benefit, then I can forgive people’s make mistakes and move on with life. When you hold grudges against people for reasons other than what I said, it’s only going to bring you down.
What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?
I recommend people meditate for at least 10 minutes a day. It can help provide perspective and clear your mind.

Working hard I found has gotten me far in life; however, remember the goal you set for yourself in your business will also help you to advance it.
What is one failure in your career, how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?
I really don’t think I had a failure in my career as a businessperson. As a basketball coach, I wish I would have had more self-confidence to pursue my goals and coaching.
