Nando Caporicci

I follow successful industry experts for tips of continued updated information. As an entrepreneur, I am always in search of new horizons.

Nando Caporicci began his higher education at Concordia University, in Quebec, Canada. He completed his Political Science degree in 1994. However, after obtaining his political science degree, he realized that he genuinely had a passion for business commerce. He shifted gears and went on to complete his Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the City University of Seattle in 1998.

After graduation, Nando Caporicci kept his hand on the pulse of leading-edge markets. What caught his interest was the newly emerging technology as a way of doing business at that time. He saw the potential of internet technology. It launched his imagination and drove his passion. His primary focus was on direct response marketing. In addition, Nando Caporicci learned all he could about mailers, infomercials, display ads, and decided that the internet would be the strongest way of implementing his marketing strategies.

Nando’s first position was with ICP Global Technologies providing an internet presence for the company rather than an e-commerce website. It was a good start, but not the ideal position for him to engage his drive. Nando Caporicci decided to continue his search for a position more suited for his talents. He was hired at Roadmall.com and was able to run the affiliate marketing program.

Striking out on his own, Nando tried his entrepreneurship skills in the call center industry but was not satisfied with the results. He began a business in his local B2B market providing products and services. This was a very successful business. However, with his ever-present pulse on emerging technologies, he discovered a new virtual cryptocurrency called Bitcoin. With the success of his current business, Nando Caporicci became very knowledgeable about this newly derived technology. He delved into this and the aspects of providing the hardware for firms to be able to fuel bitcoin transactions.

The strength of his knowledge sky-rocketed Olitris Technologies to fruition. The company will build and maintain bitcoin hardware systems for other businesses and confirm all transactions. Olitris Technologies will build a partnership type of relationship with clients based on profits generated by confirming technologies. They also offer maintenance and virus removal services.

As President of Olitris Technologies, Nando Caporicci continues to anticipate his future, by exploring e-commerce solutions while enjoying the benefits of his labor.

Where did the idea for Olitris Technologies come from?

Olitris Technology’s name integrates both of my children’s names Olivia and Tristan. I have always wanted to start a company with a name dedicated to my children, as they mean the world to me.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

My day typically starts at 5 a.m. I take a brisk morning walk to clear my mind and energize the start of my day. Once at the office, I check my email as well as the bitcoin market. I also check my schedule for appointments for services calls. Then out on the road to address any issues. My afternoons are focused on new business development and scheduling appointments.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I follow successful industry experts for tips of continued updated information. As an entrepreneur, I am always in search of new horizons. Olitris was conceived through a vertical market.

What’s one trend that excites you?

What excites me is that e-commerce is so prevalent in the world. I feel that retail cannot compete. In addition, barriers to e-commerce have broken down, enabling virtually anyone to start their own business at a very low cost. All they need is basic knowledge even if they have limited funds. Once they have the basic knowledge on how to run a business, the rest boils down to motivation, determination, as well as dedication.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

I use a software called Action Enforcer. I find it to be a great time management tool that doubles my productivity. With a software such as this, I am able to stay on top of things and manage tasks with ease. It also allows me to carve out more time to spend with my family that would otherwise have been spent on organizing my schedule.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell younger Nando Caporicci to “stay the course, don’t give up.” Appreciate the value of everything. There is a win, even in losses. The lessons learned during loss bears a value in its wisdom. So when one experiences a loss, one should not give up right away. Instead, turn it into a silver-lining victory by learning from this loss.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on?

What I know is that anyone with a good mindset can become an entrepreneur. The opportunity is out there. You have to believe that you can start out part-time and work at it to become a superstar. This is the golden age of entrepreneurship, and everyone should take full advantage of it.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

The thing I would recommend would be to get a good grip on daily productivity. Have your calendar filled for every hour of every day. Don’t let distractions get in your way. Once you start getting into the habit of making sure you are productive all day everyday, you will start to see yourself becoming a better version of yourself after every single day.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

The failure that I had during my career was when I invested in something that I knew nothing about. It was a business run by family. I did not have the time to be involved with that investment, and consequently, the business failed miserably. I had to move on and forgive myself. I took that experience, and I learned to invest wisely. I learned not to invest with my heart where family is concerned, only invest in the things that I know and have control over.

The best strategy is to reinvest your profits in your business. Don’t get carried away with fancy cars or extravagant vacations. Be frugal until you grow your business to a monumental success.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

I would recommend building a Shopify business. It provides a straightforward platform and a website without you having to be a web designer. It has credit card processing, and it is easy for a customer to place an order, integrated drop shipping without ever having to carry inventory. You are in business right away. It takes time to set it up, but, you are right in the game. It also integrates with Facebook which is great for marketing.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

I spent about $30 on something called Action Enforcer that I talked about earlier, and it really got me focused. Tasks are completed from day to day, and it helps me to overcome procrastination. It was a huge boost for me!

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

Other than Action Enforcer, I use a phone app called Calm, which is a guided meditation app. It helps me get a 7-10-minute breather for the day. It gets the endorphins going and truly feels like I am taking a mini-vacation. It helps me to think clearer and get rid of my brain-fog, so I am more focused. I like it a lot. and I will continue to take full advantage of it to help me focus more

What is your favorite quote?

My quote comes from the show called Breaking Bad. The quote: “Being the best at something is a very rare thing. You don’t just toss that away. Why would you want to squander your potential”?

Key learning:

• There is nothing more important than time management
• Have faith in the universe. Share your 10% in profits. Everything always comes back to you.
• Maintain balance. It is not always about the money, and what you don’t have. Family and memories are important. The most important part of life is to enjoy life.
• This is the “golden age to do business.” If you have an idea for a business, it has never been easier to implement it. With the introduction of social media and shopping platforms, it makes it easy for a quick start business. Get in the Game and take Action. It is a better education than a 4-year degree
• Don’t dwell on failures, be grateful for them just as you are for success. Overcome obstacles and enjoy the journey.
