What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

I am passionate about my work, but I love my family too. I try my best to strike a good balance between my work and life. I try my best to sleep 7-8 hours each night and typically wake up around 6 AM. Seeing the rising sun with a cup of tea is my key to productivity. I get to my office around 8 am and make a ‘things-to-do’ list. I keep ticking off the list to keep myself motivated. A power nap, maybe half an hour after lunch, is a must for me to energize myself and keeps me fully productive till 5 pm. When I am at home, I am with my family. I never discuss or do my office work while at home. All my time is for my family, and this is how it should be.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I don’t have a list of killer ideas; I believe in executing what comes to my mind. Whenever I have an idea, I start by researching and gathering supportive data on the topic. I focus on understanding what else is out there that is similar to my idea so that I can figure out my point of uniqueness and strengthen it. Then I get my idea in front of my team to refine it with brainstorming. The next stage is to put the developed and executable idea in front of the intended audience. Lastly, I reverse engineer my success, followed by the development, publishing, evaluation, and optimization.

What’s one trend that excites you?

AI in the energy sector is the most exciting trend. As with every industry, artificial intelligence (AI) has transformative effects across energy and utilities. It is used to forecast demand and manage the distribution of resources, to ensure that power is available at the time and place it’s needed with minimal waste. This is particularly important in the renewable energy industry, where it often can’t be stored for long periods of time and has to be used close to the time and location where it is generated.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

I am a good planner; I plan things and go by them. I stick to a routine that keeps me from distractions. Planning and having a routine saves me time and energy, making me more productive as an entrepreneur.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would advise my younger self and anyone to never compare themselves to others and never try to replicate others’ lives. Being unique is key to success. Craft your own path and be yourself.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

You must have heard people saying money can’t buy happiness, but I don’t see it this way, and almost nobody agrees with me on it. I believe money can buy happiness. Just like the absence of light is darkness; similarly, the lack of essential money creates a vacuum that is filled with unhappiness.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

I channel my expertise and experience to taking calculated risks. For me, if you want to win it, you have to be in it! And this mindset brings success. I have taken risks numerous times in my life; I am not afraid of failures.

My strategy for business growth is simple – hire the right people and build a winning team to succeed! This foolproof strategy has always helped me achieve growth and success for Futuristic Energy Group. Without a great team, no company can survive, let alone succeed.

When I started, I neglected one major aspect of any business – customer service. When I faced a little setback on this front, I instantly realized its significance and hired an excellent team to manage the customer relationship.
