Raseshkumar Shah is a prominent business professional and philanthropist. Born in Mumbai, India, he moved to London at the age of seventeen, hoping to make a better life for himself. While he encountered many challenges on his journey to success, his positive attitude and ambition allowed him to navigate through difficult times. Raseshkumar worked full time to support his family back home which included taking on several restaurant and cleaning positions in his area. With the goal of one day starting his own business, he took the necessary steps to make his dream a reality, and by the age of thirty, he was a multi-millionaire. However, despite his ongoing success, Raseshkumar claims that he is always learning. Having been involved in over fifty philanthropic initiatives, he is committed to helping those less fortunate than himself.

Where did the idea for your career come from?

I always wanted to make something of myself, so by the age of seventeen, I moved to London, hoping to land some professional opportunities. Additionally, my ongoing success has allowed me to give back to others, which really fuels my motivation on a daily basis.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

I am an early riser and I find that I am most productive in the morning. I try and start each day with some exercise to help open my mind and then I am prepared to take on the day.

How do you bring ideas to life?

Think outside of Box! Being creative these days is very important. When it comes to ideas, I will normally run them past members of my team. I want to ensure I have the professional resources to bring the idea to life.

What’s one trend that excites you?

The increased focus on sustainability. Many companies use the term loosely, however, there are organizations out there switching to environmentally friendly products and doing their best to reduce their ecological footprint.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

Have focus. It can be really easy to get distracted, especially living in the digital age. Take the time to write down your daily tasks and limit the amount of time you spend online.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Don’t keep making the same mistakes. There are lots of mistakes to be made in the business landscape, which is why it is so important to self-reflect. Take the time to understand what went wrong the first time and then develop a comprehensive plan of action.

Everyone has three faces deep down
The first face, you show to the world.
The second face, you show to your close friends, and your family.
The third face, you never show anyone. It is the truest reflection of who you are.

Stay focused and positive in life and go behind excellence, success will follow…..

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

Make mistakes but never repeat it, best way to learn and grow your business. I believe there are never set standards for businesses and the dynamics always keep changing. Therefore, you have to make mistakes to learn.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

One wrong decision almost wiped me out of the earth but staying focused and positive with family and friends support, I managed to come out of it.

Green energy is the future! Go dive into it and you will be a millionaire in no time…but remember to help out the community from your profits..

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

I donated $100 to an individual who needed more than I did at the time…..

MS Excel – best tool to date – allows me to track everything!
