What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

I am up and ready to hit the ground running at 5:30am. My day starts with a workout before making rounds at my Westchester offices. I then take on the day by hopping on early morning calls with my team. Communication and collaboration are essential to make sure business runs smoothly and efficiently. After that, I spend time strategizing for upcoming projects and meetings. Throughout the day, I meet with patients to discuss their dental needs and offer them personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs. As the afternoon approaches I catch up on emails, attend meetings and tackle any other tasks that need attention before calling it a day at 6 pm. Sometimes, I find myself working later than 6 but I don’t mind it since I love what I do.

How do you bring ideas to life?

To ensure my ideas come to fruition, I have assembled a strong team of core individuals who share my passion for innovation and who work tirelessly to make ideas a reality. Thanks to their unwavering dedication and hard work, we are able to operate seamlessly from ideation to final product delivery, ensuring every detail is perfected. I know I can always count on them to help my visions come to life.

What’s one trend that excites you?

What I find most thrilling is the emergence of new technologies that continuously enhance classic dentistry procedures. With each new advancement, we are able to offer our patients more efficient and effective treatments that truly make a difference in their oral health. As a dentist, it brings me immense enthusiasm to know that I can stay up-to-date with the latest tools and methodologies, and provide my patients with world-class dental care.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

I find that the extra hours between 5-9am can be incredibly productive. Before the typical 9-5 workday begins, I am able to accomplish a great deal, whether it is completing personal tasks, engaging in exercise or self-care, or even tackling professional responsibilities. There is something invigorating about starting my day before the sun rises, and having the satisfaction of knowing I have already made progress toward my goals while many others are still sleeping.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would emphasize the importance of being relentless in the pursuit of my passions. It is essential to stay focused on what truly matters and remain committed to achieving my goals. It is easy to become discouraged or lose sight of the bigger picture, but I would tell myself to stay the course and never give up on the things that truly bring me joy and fulfillment. Ultimately, with persistence and hard work, the results will come, and the journey will be all the more valuable for the lessons learned along the way.
Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.
Israel has the best soccer teams in world. Israel’s soccer has been praised by soccer experts for their teamwork, strategic play, and overall talent.

Tell us something you believe that almost nobody agrees with you on?

Your family is also part of your network and can provide many opportunities.

I come from a family of dentists in Israel. The way they spoke about their patients and love for dentistry inspired me to pursue the same career.
When I moved to America I used my entrepreneurial spirit and passion for dentistry to go from clinical director of a DSO to full time business owner.
It all began with an idea – what if dental practices could be run more efficiently? That idea soon became reality when I decided to open up my own practice.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

I cannot stress enough the benefits of waking up early each day, even if you are not a natural early riser. By training yourself to wake up just a little bit earlier each day, you unlock the opportunity to gain extra time that can be invaluable for productivity, self-care, or other personal goals. This may mean starting with a 15-minute earlier wake-up call and gradually adding on to that each day. Over time, this can add up to a significant amount of extra time that you can leverage to accomplish more each day.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

I take time to consult with my family and team.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

I can confidently say that having the right team and mindset has been my most effective strategy. Surrounding myself with individuals who share my passion for growth and development has helped to keep me motivated and focused on achieving my goals. Together, we push each other to reach our full potential and strive for excellence in everything we do. By cultivating a positive, growth-oriented mindset, I am better able to overcome challenges and obstacles, viewing them as opportunities for improvement rather than setbacks. Overall, these two strategies – building the right team and adopting a growth mindset – have been key factors in my personal and professional achievements.

What is one failure in your career,  how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?

One of my biggest failures was a lack of focus. I had to learn the hard way that while multitasking can have some benefits, it can also be detrimental to overall productivity and success. I recognized that I needed to develop a better ability to direct my focus on specific tasks and initiatives in order to achieve positive outcomes and see real progress. This involved identifying clear goals and priorities for my business, breaking down larger objectives into smaller, more manageable tasks, and creating a workable schedule for myself.

What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?

I learned that you don’t always need to reinvent the wheel. By finding ways to make life more convenient for others within your industry you can create significant value and differentiate yourself from the competition. This may involve identifying pain points or inefficiencies in existing processes, and using technology, design, or other creative solutions to address them in a more effective way.

What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

The most productive app on my phone is WhatsApp. As a business owner who works with a team of employees and partners, effective communication is key to our success. WhatsApp allows us to stay connected and communicate efficiently throughout the day, whether we are in the office or working remotely. WhatsApp allows us to keep in touch in real-time and remain agile in response to the ever-changing demands of our work.
