Wrapping up 2010

2010 is about to come to an end. And while we have plenty of awesome interviews in the can, we are going to shut shop early and take a week off from publishing.

Three reasons.

1. There is all kinds of work that needs to be done behind the scenes to make 2011 the most awesome year for IdeaMensch ever. Stuff like ramping up our email newsletter, catching up on email, publishing our first free ebook and getting ready for some HUGE interviews early next year. You are not going to believe who is going to be interviewed on here. I can’t.

2. The Holidays are a great time to spend with the people you love. That’s what we’re doing.

3. The Holidays are a great time to spend with the people you love. That’s what we hope you’re doing.

Looking back at December, I can tell you that it was our biggest month ever both from a traffic and opportunities perspective. While we had a bit of a Google Analytics hickup earlier in the month and we’re not publishing any interviews this last week, I can tell you this. There are at least 10,000 of you.

Looking back at 2010, I am blown away by what we were able to accomplish and most importantly by the caliber of people who joined our community. I don’t know what our exact anniversary would be but I can tell you that we aren’t a year old yet. So this past year has been incredible. I cannot believe how far we have come.

Next year will be life-changing, both for ourselves and many of you.

I couldn’t be more excited.

Here is to bringing ideas to life in 2011.

Thank you for everything that you’ve done for this community.
