Angelyn Myers is a mom of 6 and substitute teacher that turned an idea into a product!
Where did the idea for your company come from?
My 4th oldest daughter insisted on using 3 towels after every bath! (one on her head, one around her shoulders, and one tied around her waist!) Yet, she would still complain of being to cold! One day, hoping to avoid the 3 towel routine, I had a light bulb moment! My daughter needs a towel with full body coverage! I searched online and couldn’t find anything, so I created my own!
What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
My typical day starts by getting 6 kids up and off to school! Most days I work from my home office, when Im not substitute teaching. I am a list maker! I like to check those to do’s off my list!

Google, and Advice from other entrepreneurs!
What’s one trend that excites you?
I’m excited about the online entrepreneur community. There is so much support out there!
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
I have a habit of social media! I find time everyday to connect with others and share my story/product!
What advice would you give your younger self?
Always do what you feel is the right thing to do– follow your gut! There are different journeys/callings/paths at different stages in your life. Things change, people change, that’s life!
Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.
Energy. Positive and Negative energy can be felt by those around you. (or at least by me!)
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
Smile, Listen to other entrepreneur stories, be nice, and Network, Network, Network!
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?
I do product exchanges with other entrepreneurs. We send each other our products to keep. We use them and then write an honest review on social media. It gets my product into areas that may not be aware of my product.
What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?
My first set of prototypes weren’t great! I had to re-evaluate measurements.
What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?
A store loyalty app that is good for a variety of stores that you can collect points, use digital coupons ect.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
I invested in myself with some New Glasses! The scratch resistant lenses are so worth the investment!
What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive? How do you use it?
I currently use Shopify for my website. Its fairly simple to set up, create discounts, and make changes as needed.
What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?
The Power of Broke by Daymond John because he not only features others.
