Carla Risoldi

Based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Carla V. Risoldi has owned and managed operations at Risoldi Law Offices, LLC, since 1994. She has nearly four decades of experience as a legal professional, including 25 years of family law practice. During her career, she has excelled at communicating with her clients and providing legal services tailored to their exact needs. What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

I drink tea, often Japanese matcha green tea, meditate, listen to (Buddhist) Dharma talk, exercise, and work.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I contemplate how to make them work, then execute a plan.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

I have a good work ethic, am self-aware, and set reasonable goals.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Keep aware of moral compass and stay away from people who want to lure you into their stuff. It is so easy to get lured by someone close to you whom you trust.

Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you on?

Rebirth.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

Meditation and yoga, I wish I had started earlier.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

Listen to a Dharma talk, meditate, exercise, and refocus.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

I have always had a simple strategy regarding my practice, to collaborate closely with clients.

What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

I use the usual ones: Word, Adobe, Google Drive/Dropbox, and Square.

Do you have a favorite book or podcast you’ve gotten a ton of value from and why?

My favorite books are Dharma books and literature. I also like James Joyce, Franz Kafka, and Fyodor Dostoevsky.

What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?

I like to watch Japanese TV shows in Japanese with English subtitles, as I am trying to self-learn Japanese.
