She has been a writer for as well as She loves helping established brands and companies connect to the media through her established media connections.

Christina enjoys travel and currently resides in Sacramento, California just 1 and a half hours from San Francisco where she likes to visit for work and entertainment.

Where did the idea for your company come from?

Christina Kumar PR came from my interest in journalism as I have several years of experience.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

It’s sectioned into projects. The most important projects are finished first. As well as email checking and following-up through the day.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I like to bring ideas to life with lots of enthusiasm. I like to make sure I am inspired with my work.

What’s one trend that excites you?

A trend that excites me is the entrepreneur trend where all ages and all ethnicities are accepted and supported in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

Persistence as it sees you through to the completion of a goal and helps you to move forward.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Get started earlier in entrepreneurship. The earlier you start, the more you’ll learn!

It’s good to try new things when in regard to business.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

Network with other entrepreneurs because you can get great advice that way.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

Getting advice from more seasoned entrepreneurs. Even if I sometimes don’t agree with their strategy it’s good to be able to hear from another perspective.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

My first advertisement campaign for my online business. I had to try different advertising platforms before figuring out which one would work. Not every top advertising platform will be a hit on your first attempt.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Digital paper. To reduce waste and be more interactive.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

On business related books, they can be a good way to learn.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

I like to use Microsoft Word. Its features are great and it is the best document platform I have used compared to multiple others. It hardly has issues.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

It’s the Steve Jobs biography. It is entertaining as well as very informative as an entrepreneur. It is inspiring to those who want to be an entrepreneur because of all the real-life lessons featured in it.

What is your favorite quote?

Steve Jobs:
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”
