Where did the idea for your company come from?

The idea for my company came from my interest and experience in journalism.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

During the pandemic, I like to keep up with work and am doing more Zoom conferences. Since I am traveling less, I am able to meet new entrepreneurs from all across the country online. I am still making sure to stay social during this time and am learning new things as well.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I like to make sure it is something I am excited about and goes along with my values and beliefs. Then I research and take action.

What’s one trend that excites you?

The one trend that excites me is new technology like alternative energy which is on its way to potentially fix issues such as air pollution and global warming.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

One habit of mine that makes me more productive as an entrepreneur are breathing techniques which help improve blood flow and also help with staying in a positive state of mind.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would advise starting earlier in entrepreneurship because it would help get through all the learning curves faster and will give more experience when starting businesses in the future.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

That it’s easy being vegetarian. It really is.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

Trying new technology. It’s best to stay ahead with technology.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

The one strategy that has helped grow my business is using technology especially during the pandemic. Using newer conference technology has been interesting as well as helpful in staying connected.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

One was working with clients who complained about pricing constantly; which made it difficult to work with. Now I learned to set boundaries and walk away from difficult clients.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

One business idea is a mood app for watch devices like Apple Watch. If it detects moods such as stress for example, it can play the users favorite song or melody to help them get into a better mood.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

I would say a few business events since they were informative and I was able to connect with acquaintances and new contacts as well.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

It is really simple: Google Docs. It has been easy to load and save files as well as share.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

1 Habit for Entrepreneurial Success because it “brought together some of the greatest Entrepreneurial Minds on the Planet and asked them each two simple questions. What is the 1 Habit that has had the most significant impact on your life? What was the 1 un-Habit you needed to get rid of to clear your pathway to success? This book is the result, and the Magic is all you need is 1 Habit to change your life Forever!”

What is your favorite quote?

My favorite quote is: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” – Steve Jobs
