Dylan and Hunter Simons

Co-Founders of Only Positive Stories

They were orphans in Siberia Russia until their Mom and Dad brought them home and made them a family. They love school, sports and their friends and family. They knew a bit of positivity can go a long way.

Every night their Mom would ask us both of them to tell her what positive thing happened and every morning they would read a positive quote.

They want to share positive attitude with others and hope to make a little bit of change in the world where they will not hear complaining or negativity.

Where did the idea for Only Positive Stories come from?

My brother and I were adopted from Siberia, Russia. We lived in an orphanage until our Mom and Dad came to get us – we were both almost two years old.

We are now both 14 and our parents taught us to be positive and thankful.

We appreciate our family and love sharing our own positive story and thought why not start sharing other positive stories also.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

We are both athletes and a regular day has us dedicated to our sports and schoolwork.

In our spare time we search the internet to find some positive stories that might make other people smile. We will type the story up, make sure everything is written correctly and then post it. Later we would head onto social media and post something there.

How do you bring ideas to life?

Once we have an idea in our heads we make a plan to make it happen. We plan out all the steps and follow the plan until it is completed. Our Mom has helped us as well. We are young and learning as we go.

What’s one trend that excites you?

As we said we are learning as we go but we like the short videos that can help grow our business.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

Since we are both successful athletes we know that hard work pays off. Practice makes you better. We know we need to put in effort and time to make this successful.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Advice we would give to our younger selves is to believe it can happen and it will happen.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

You can always find something positive in every situation.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

Hard work and determination pays off in the long run and also to have patience.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

We are slowly growing this business by trying different things and we just started asking friends to join us.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

A failure that we had was time management. It was hard to find the between our sports and school to work on the business. We are now choosing a time and sticking to it no matter what.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

You’re never too young to start a business.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

The best $100 I spent recently was investing Tesla stock, it grew 40%.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

“Later” is a software that publishes to social media automatically. I use this by scheduling posts for a certain time and date then it publishes it by itself.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

The community should read “I Will Always Write Back”. This novel is about a girl in the United States writing and helping a boy in Zimbabwe get through schooling. With an education anything is possible.

What is your favorite quote?

“In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.”
