Mike Mann is the founder and chairman of Grassroots.org, a global network providing free services to nonprofits and promoting social action. He also founded and manages Make Change! Trust, a charitable fund that supports select 501c3 organizations. Mann is the author of “Make Millions & Make Change! Secrets to Business and Personal Success.” He has started several successful for-profit corporations. Three of these companies were listed on the 2012 Inc. 500, which recognizes some of the fastest growing businesses in America. Those firms included Phone.com, DomainMarket.com and SEO.com.

Where did the idea for Make Millions & Make Change! Secrets to Business and Personal Success come from?
I was writing a manual for my employees and expanded it.
What does your typical day look like?
Walk around Boca, gym, buying and selling domains, phone calls and chats, restaurant/bar.
How do you bring ideas to life?
I am the master, I follow my own methods at www.MakeMillions.com.
What’s one trend that really excites you?
Cashless payment systems and a newco I am working on called Cashless.com.
What was the worst job you ever had and what did you learn from it?
Making subs; to be a vegetarian.
If you were to start again, what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t trust so many people.
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
Do better documentation and analytics with stakeholders.
What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?
Sex.com; selling it in world record setting deal.
What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?
Start a marketing related company that leverages crowdsourcing for fulfillment on the back-end.
If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and how would you go about it?
I would round up the cruel people and reengineer them from a jail.

Why do you want to change the world?
Can you find something more meaningful to attempt to do; and accomplish it? My weapon; I’m a true believer and can accomplish my goals.
