What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?
My typical day is far from typical! As an entrepreneur, I find it crucial to keep my mind and body in peak condition, so I make sure to hit the gym first thing in the morning. Not only does this help me stay fit, but it also helps me clear my head and release any negative energy that may have built up from the day before.
Now, I’ll admit that I’m not exactly an early bird – I tend to wake up around 9 am and stay up late until 2 or 3 am. But that doesn’t mean I’m not productive! Throughout the day, I work on various projects, meet with potential partners, and catch up with friends. By staying active and engaged, I find that I’m able to make the most out of every day and keep my productivity levels high.
How do you bring ideas to life?
Bringing ideas to life is definitely a team effort for me. I’m constantly seeking out new perspectives and opinions to help refine and strengthen my concepts. Networking is a key part of this process, as I’ve found that the most successful projects are often the result of collaboration and diverse skill sets.
Once I’ve identified a team I feel comfortable working with, we’ll sit down and hash out the details, bouncing ideas off one another until we’ve landed on something that we’re all excited about. From there, it’s all about execution – putting in the time and effort to turn that idea into a tangible reality. It can be a challenging process, but I find it incredibly rewarding to see something come to life that started as just a spark of an idea.
What’s one trend that excites you?
One trend that really excites me is the growing interest in travel. There’s something about exploring new places, cultures and meeting new people that really gets me going. I love booking a trip and just disappearing for a few months to explore different parts of the world. It’s a great way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and gain new perspectives.
There’s so much to see and learn in this world, and I believe that traveling is one of the best ways to do it. Whether it’s trying new foods, experiencing different traditions or just taking in the beauty of a new landscape, every trip brings with it a wealth of opportunities to learn and grow. So, I’m definitely excited to see more people embracing this trend and discovering all the amazing things the world has to offer.
What is one habit that helps you be productive?
One habit of mine that helps me be productive is maintaining a positive mindset. I firmly believe that positive thinking can help me achieve anything I set my mind to. Additionally, I love taking short trips to get away from my work and explore new places. Whether it’s hitting the road for a one-day trip or engaging in some sports activities, I always feel rejuvenated and ready to tackle whatever comes my way. Sometimes even something as simple as going shopping can help me clear my mind and enlighten my mood. All in all, taking breaks and finding activities that help me stay positive and refreshed are essential for my productivity.
What advice would you give your younger self?
If I could give advice to my younger self, I would tell him to step out of his comfort zone and explore the world. Traveling, especially to exotic places, has been such an eye-opening experience for me and I think it’s important for everyone to get out there and see different cultures and ways of life. Taking responsibility for my own life has also been crucial in my personal and professional growth. It’s easy to stay in a bubble of comfort and familiarity, but nothing great comes from playing it safe all the time. So, I would tell my younger self to take risks, be brave, and embrace new experiences because that’s where the magic happens.
Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you.
Well, I have a belief that some people might not agree with, and that’s the idea that my problems are my own to solve. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate help and support from others, but ultimately, I want to take responsibility for my own life and figure things out myself. Some people might question why I don’t share my struggles more openly, but I prefer to deal with them privately and find my own solutions.
Another thing that some people find odd about me is that I always smile, no matter what. But for me, a smile is a powerful tool that can bring hope and positivity to others, and also give me the strength to face any challenges that come my way. I truly believe that there’s no such thing as too much smiling, and that it can make a real difference in the world.
What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?
For me, life is all about enjoying every moment and living it to the fullest. That’s why I repeatedly recommend everyone to do the same. Don’t hold back and wait for some special occasion to enjoy your life. Find your moment and make the most of it. It could be as simple as treating yourself to your favorite meal or taking a walk in the park. Whatever it is, make sure you enjoy it to the fullest.
You only have one life, and you need to take care of yourself to make the most of it. So, make sure to prioritize your physical and mental health. Treat yourself every now and then, take some time off to relax and rejuvenate. Remember, life is precious, and we won’t be here forever. So, make the most of it while you can.
When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?
When I feel overwhelmed or unfocused, I try to take a step back and assess the situation. I prioritize the tasks that need to be done and delete any that don’t energize me or aren’t essential. I find that breaking things down into smaller, more manageable steps helps me stay focused and motivated.
I also have an assistant who helps me stay organized and on track. I delegate tasks to him and have him ping me when things need my attention. I use a calendar to keep track of my daily tasks and make sure I stay on top of everything.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?
One strategy that has helped me grow my business and advance in my career is networking. I strongly believe that connections and relationships are the backbone of any successful career. That’s why I make it a point to socialize and connect with people from all walks of life, even while traveling to exotic places.
I understand that first impressions are crucial, so I always try to present myself in the best possible way. This means dressing in my nicest shirts or suits, as it sets me apart from others and helps me to stand out in a crowd. I have found that people are often drawn to those who exude confidence and positivity, which is why I always try to be friendly and approachable. By building strong relationships and maintaining a positive attitude, I have been able to grow my business and advance in my career.
What is one failure in your career, how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?
One failure in my career was my 14-year stint in advertising. I came to the realization that it just wasn’t for me, and that was a difficult decision to make. However, I learned that it’s never too late to change your path and try something new. It’s important to learn from your experiences and not feel trapped by your previous choices.
Another failure I experienced was in the world of cryptocurrency and AI, where I lost a significant amount of money due to factors beyond my control such as the pandemic and changing regulations in the industry. But even in failure, there are lessons to be learned and I gained valuable experience. I now know that I can earn back what I lost and that failure is not the end, but an opportunity to grow and improve.
What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?
As someone who is always on the go and values efficiency, I believe that creating an online service that expedites shipping and provides one-day delivery would be a game-changer for many people. In today’s fast-paced world, time is a valuable commodity and people are willing to pay for convenience. So, for those of you looking to start a new business venture, consider creating a platform that helps people get what they need quickly and efficiently. With the right strategies in place, it could be a successful and lucrative business idea.
What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?
While my gym app does help me stay motivated, as I am constantly reminded to go work out, I think a more appropriate answer to the question would be my calendar app. I use it religiously to schedule my day and keep track of all my appointments and tasks. It helps me stay organized and on top of things, and I can easily adjust my schedule if something unexpected comes up. Plus, I can set reminders and notifications to make sure I don’t miss anything important. Without my calendar app, I would be lost!
What is the best $100 you recently spent?
Spending that $100 on a ticket to Miami was definitely the best decision I’ve made recently. It allowed me to meet up with a team that I’ve been wanting to partner with for a while and work on the brand identity for my upcoming project. We were able to bounce ideas off each other and really get a sense of each other’s working style. Plus, the trip itself was just a nice little break from the everyday hustle and bustle of work. It’s important to invest in yourself and your projects, and this $100 was a great investment for me both professionally and personally.
Do you have a favorite book or podcast from which you’ve received much value?
“Unfu*k Yourself: Get Out of Your Head and into Your Life” is a powerful book that has had a significant impact on my life. The author, Gary John Bishop, provides a no-nonsense approach to overcoming the mental obstacles that hold us back from achieving our goals. One of the most valuable lessons I took away from the book is that we are responsible for our own lives and have the power to change them. It’s easy to get stuck in negative thought patterns and become complacent, but this book taught me to take action and take control of my life.
Bishop’s message of personal responsibility and accountability is something that resonates with me and has helped me to push through difficult times. He encourages readers to take ownership of their thoughts and actions, and to be willing to do the hard work required to achieve their goals. The book is a great reminder that we are capable of far more than we often give ourselves credit for, and that with the right mindset, anything is possible.
What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?
I really enjoyed watching Babylon because it had a unique perspective on the world of finance and banking, and how it affects our lives. The film was able to portray complex financial concepts in a way that was easy to understand and engaging to watch. The acting was superb, and the story kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.
As for TV series, I’m a huge fan of Game of Thrones, and I think it’s one of the best shows ever made. The writing, acting, and production values are top-notch, and the world-building is incredible. Another series that I really enjoyed watching recently was Killing Eve, which has a great balance of humor, drama, and suspense.
