Robert Abraham

Founder of Exodus Medical

Dr. Robert Abraham is the founder of Exodus Medical, an organization that changed the lives of more than 10,000 patients. Among the key areas that Dr. Abraham and his team specialize in include neuropathy relief, food allergy/sensitivity testing, exercise with oxygen therapy, nutrition counseling, shockwave therapy, non-surgical spinal decompression, among many others. Dr. Abraham got into the world of holistic medicine due to his father’s struggles with neuropathy while receiving conventional treatment. He noted that while conventional medicine gave his father some short-term relief, it never really lasted. By taking a holistic approach to health, Dr. Abraham has helped many patients gain true wellness through the techniques mentioned above. Besides running Exodus Medical and NextGen Medical, Dr. Abraham has built a reputation among the best industry experts and is now in the process of opening multiple locations to help more patients. He is Board Certified in Chronic Intractable Pain and Neuropathy through The American College of Physical Medicine. He is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association, Florida Chiropractic Physicians Association, and the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Abraham is also traveling around the country teaching other doctors about the protocols that have given so many patients their lives back.

Where did the idea for Exodus Medical come from?

Starting Exodus Medical came with a clear vision and mission – to provide an integrated, holistic approach to healthcare. I have always seen that healing is more complete when treating the body as a whole rather than focusing on symptoms. Holistic medicine focuses on physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social health. Incorporating strategies such as plant-based medicines, state-of-the-art therapies like Low Level Light Therapy, Shockwave therapy, Non-surgical Spinal Decompression, lifestyle changes like exercise and meditation. I believe that this kind of preventative care eliminates the need for traditional medical treatment in numerous cases. My passion for exploring alternative health and wellness methods remains unwavering, and I’m committed to helping others embrace holistic healing principles.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

Every morning at 6 a.m., I prepare for the day by planning how many patients I’ll meet with. The staff is always helpful and provides me with an organized schedule, making it easier to manage my patient-doctor appointments and maximize each day. From quick check-ins to more in-depth visits lasting up to an hour or so, I allocate enough time per patient so that everyone feels respected and heard as they discuss their health concerns. It’s rewarding work, mainly because my goal is to ensure that all my patients live healthier lives in whatever way possible.
Staying on a schedule is always important to make the most of my day. By sticking to the amount of hours I’ve allocated for each client, I can maximize my time and serve more people efficiently. This means that I can help even more people and ensure everyone gets the individualized attention they require. Not only do I have greater satisfaction at the end of the day, but so do my clients when they know their needs have been completely met. Sticking to a schedule also helps me stay organized, so I’m always prepared and on track.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I learned early on that if I don’t take swift action on my ideas, the odds would be immensely stacked against their execution. To put a fire under myself, I bring my ideas to life whenever they come up in order to avoid any procrastination or doubt that may stop me from fully exploiting any potential a thought had. This method has not only allowed me to beat back the status quo paralysis that many of us experience, but it has also helped bring out qualities in myself I was unaware of and even increased my creativity when taking the initiative.

What’s one trend that excites you?

It’s incredibly encouraging to see growing interest in holistic approaches to health and healing. With the right combination of nutritious food, physical activity, restful sleep, positive relationships, mindfulness-based stress reduction and relaxation techniques, we can all achieve an optimal level of wellness and vitality. This is great news for both individuals who become aware of how they can nurture themselves in all aspects and practitioners such as myself who promote these natural and integrative ways of taking care of themselves. Most importantly, however, is that collective awareness around the importance of a holistic approach to health means more people will benefit from improved lifestyle habits in the future – a win for everybody.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

Resilience is undoubtedly one of the defining habits of successful entrepreneurs. Sharing my own experience, when I first established Exodus Medical, the road was full of challenges – from hiring the right people to identifying the right market for our product. However, I stuck with it and devoted countless hours towards refining and perfecting our concept until it finally paid off. It takes immense passion, dedication, and patience to make something from nothing, but if you’re strongly driven and resilient enough, there’s no limit to what you can achieve. To all aspiring entrepreneurs out there: don’t give up! Keep pushing forward until you reach your goal; as long as your concept is sound, success will find its way eventually.

What advice would you give your younger self?

As a young person, it can sometimes be overwhelming to think about the future and your decisions. Many would advise taking the “safe” route, focusing on career success and monetary gain. However, this path may not lead to true lasting happiness down the line. Instead, I would encourage my younger self to focus on their passions and dreams. Make mistakes while you can, as they will only help you learn in life. Taking risks is necessary to experience new opportunities and pursue a life that is truly fulfilling and brings joy. Following your heart may lead to unexpected adventures; ultimately, it will always pay off in more ways than one; real, lasting happiness is within reach when passion guides your journey through life.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

I firmly believe that A.I. will snowball its way through technical jobs faster than it will replace art careers. That’s because machines are more rooted in logic and efficiently achieve highly analytical tasks – like software development, engineering positions, and control systems – while authentic art remains exclusively practiced by humans. Most people think this is far-fetched, but we can already see it happening, as computers can write intelligent software by themselves today.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

As an entrepreneur, the only way to achieve long-term success and keep clients engaged is to be open to their feedback. Over the years, I’ve incorporated this strategy and made sure that every single piece of feedback my clients give me gets heard, understood, and implemented in some way. This has been extremely helpful for fine-tuning existing systems, making them better suited to the needs of my clients. Not only does it ensure that clients have a good experience with my company, it also gives me valuable insight on how I could be doing things better. Listening to your clients should not just be a way for entrepreneurs to please customers—it is necessary for any growing business.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

That would be my communication skills and having the right staff. As a holistic health expert, I understand the power of having the right skill set and team to ensure success. Having the skill set necessary to consult on holistic health was essential for my business venture, and I also select individuals who share that same passion and commitment to excellence. Not only are they highly qualified and trained professionals in their own right, but they also share in my vision of providing clients with holistic health services that exceed expectations. Not only do my staff and I strive to implement practical solutions with our clients, but we also work hard to provide conscientious customer service tailored to each person’s individual needs. By leveraging their knowledge, experience, and dedication along with my expertise, I am confident we will continue to thrive as a business well into the future.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

I have had many ups and downs along the way. I don’t think there is one single failure that I find particularly impactful on the business. I think that’s because I am keen on risk management as well. I calculate the risk/reward well before I implement a decision.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Thinking of a business idea that is complete and cohesive is undoubtedly something you can only get from yourself. It may seem intimidating, but starting a business involves identifying a need and finding the best solution. In essence, you are creating demand for something that didn’t exist before- a process that requires insight, foresight, and determination. Ideas for businesses come from within, so look at them systematically and use resources like research papers or surveys to unearth the necessary data about what kind of demand exists for particular products or services in your chosen market. You can develop an innovative idea with excellent potential with the right approach and dedication.
