Stacy graduated from Boston College in 2014 and has worked in online marketing ever since college summers where she started her own swimming lesson business and customers would be baffled when they found her on the first page of Google. From there, she has continued to grow her own companies, including her consulting agency, Stacy For Startups, now rebranded as Accelerated Growth Marketing, her website investing company for people who want to invest in and acquire wealth-building assets, and her apparel company which she designs with her mom.
Stacy’s passion is helping companies grow. She has worked with dozens of companies with budgets ranging from $5/month to $360K/month helping them grow through organic search on Google, Bing, Pinterest, Amazon and Etsy. She is also an expert optimizing paid campaigns on Adwords, Bing Ads, Etsy, Amazon, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube and other platforms. In addition to optimizing campaigns and helping companies grow profitably she enjoys running her own portfolio of sites with over 1,000,000 monthly pageviews, running and reading in her spare time. She loves traveling and studied abroad in Hong Kong while at college and has visited dozens of countries in the world. She also loves dogs and playing with her family’s new puppy, Cooper.
Where did the idea for Accelerated Growth Marketing come from?
The idea for my company Accelerated Growth Marketing came from having direct experience helping companies grow through marketing from my Internship with the Boston Startup USpin and my own swimming lesson business, and the gap in the marketplace where many smaller startups where still looking for help. I came to fill that gap. It’s now expanded to become a website investing company as well, and I enjoy helping others gain profitable, wealth building assets.
What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
I focus on my priority tasks in the morning and block out my calendar for 3 or 4 hours so I can completely focus. Then I go on a run to clear my mind, and work again for 4 or 5 hours at night on less important tasks.
How do you bring ideas to life?
I bring ideas to life by writing a to do list in my phone and then prioritize them in an email draft. I then bring them to life when I prioritize them in my morning 3 to 4 hour work period.
What’s one trend that excites you?
The social media influencer trend excites me, for both the influencers themselves and the brands that partner with them. I think it is a great way to remove the middleman and have brands and influencers partner directly with eachother.
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
Keeping a to do list in my phone and email draft and updating it daily as well as crossing off the most important items daily.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Start building profitable assets much earlier including investing in websites.

It’s possible to build your own business without necessarily trading time for money, and to work for yourself.
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
Be consistent, sit down and work on the same things everyday even before you see progress.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?
Use Pinterest to gain site traffic by publishing everyday on BoardBooster and using group boards found by PinGroupie.
What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?
Sometimes it is hard to get clients – to overcome that I sign up for middleman sites including Upwork and Linkedin ProFinder.
What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?
Invest in a business that is already successful then help it grow. I’d recommend a website that is already profitable. The going rate is 20-30X monthly valuation.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
The Bio Onic straightener. My hair has been a mess recently and this makes it straight and beautiful quickly.
What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive? How do you use it?
SEMRush – it lists all my keyword rankings in a neat list without having to search for each ranking individually on Google.
What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?
“Rich Dad Poor Dad”, it talks about asset building and the importance of accumulating assets that contribute to long-term wealth.
