What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

My typical day starts early, usually around 5:30 AM. I begin with a cup of freshly brewed espresso—naturally, made with one of our Bellucci machines—and take some time to review my goals for the day. I believe in the power of a structured morning routine to set the tone for the day. After some quiet time, I dive into emails and urgent matters. My day is usually a mix of meetings, product development discussions, and strategic planning sessions. I make my day productive by prioritizing tasks that align with our long-term goals and by keeping a flexible but focused schedule. Staying adaptable is key, especially in a dynamic industry like ours.

How do you bring ideas to life?

What’s one trend that excites you?

One trend that excites me is the increasing demand for sustainable products. Consumers are becoming more conscious of their environmental impact, and this is pushing industries, including ours, to innovate in ways that are both eco-friendly and efficient. At Bellucci Ltd, we’ve been exploring sustainable materials and products. The challenge of balancing sustainability with performance is something that truly excites me because it pushes us to think differently and innovate in meaningful ways.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

One habit that helps me stay productive is daily reflection. At the end of each day, I take 15 minutes to review what I accomplished, what challenges I faced, and what I can improve on the next day. This habit not only keeps me grounded but also ensures that I’m continually learning and adapting. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle, but taking time to reflect helps me maintain focus and clarity.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to trust the process and not rush the journey. Success doesn’t come overnight, and there will be setbacks along the way. But each challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow. I would also advise myself to take more calculated risks early on. Fear of failure can hold you back, but those who succeed are often the ones who embrace risk and turn it into an advantage.

Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you on?

I believe that sometimes less is more, even in business. In an age where everyone is pushing for more—more products, more features, more sales—I’ve found that focusing on doing fewer things but doing them exceptionally well can be more effective. This approach allows for higher quality, better customer satisfaction, and stronger brand loyalty. It’s not always a popular opinion, especially in a world that often equates quantity with success, but it’s a principle that has served me well.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

I repeatedly emphasize the importance of listening—truly listening—to customers. It sounds simple, but it’s something that many businesses overlook. We make it a point to gather customer feedback regularly, and this informs our decisions, from product development to customer service. I recommend that everyone, regardless of their industry, makes listening to their customers a priority. It’s one of the most direct ways to improve and grow.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

When I feel overwhelmed or unfocused, I take a step back and go for a walk, or if time allows, I’ll take a short flight. There’s something about being up in the air that clears my mind and helps me regain perspective. If that’s not an option, I’ll simply disconnect for a few minutes—no phone, no screens—and focus on deep breathing. This break allows me to reset and return to my work with renewed focus.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

One strategy that has been crucial to our growth is the relentless pursuit of quality. We’ve built our reputation on delivering the best possible products, and this has earned us the trust and loyalty of our customers. By prioritizing quality over everything else, we’ve been able to differentiate ourselves in a crowded market and create lasting value for our customers. This commitment to quality extends beyond our products—it’s a principle that guides every aspect of our business.

What is one failure in your career,  how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?

Early in my career, I launched a product that I was convinced would be a hit. However, I didn’t fully consider the market demand or the timing, and it failed to gain traction. It was a tough lesson, but it taught me the importance of market research and timing. I overcame it by going back to the drawing board, involving more voices in the decision-making process, and being more rigorous in testing our ideas before launch. The experience reinforced the idea that no matter how good a product is, success depends on understanding the market and the timing of its introduction.

What is one business idea you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Given the growing interest in sustainability, there’s a business opportunity in creating a line of eco-friendly, compostable coffee pods that work with existing espresso machines. These pods could be made from plant-based materials and designed to decompose quickly without leaving a carbon footprint. It’s an idea that not only meets consumer demand but also aligns with a broader commitment to environmental responsibility.

I recently enjoyed watching Ford v Ferrari. It’s a story about passion, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of excellence—qualities that resonate deeply with me. The film captures the spirit of competition and the drive to push the boundaries, which are central to both my personal interests and professional philosophy.
