I make my day productive by prioritizing tasks and focusing on patient care, ensuring each child receives the attention they need. I also dedicate time to reading the latest dental research to keep my practice up to date.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I bring ideas to life by discussing them with my team, researching their feasibility, and then implementing them incrementally in our practice. This collaborative and stepwise approach helps us integrate new concepts effectively.

What’s one trend that excites you?

The trend towards incorporating more preventative care in pediatric dentistry excites me. It’s shifting focus from not just treating dental issues but also educating families on how to prevent them, which I believe is fundamental for better oral health.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

Starting my day with a structured plan helps me stay productive. Knowing what needs to be accomplished by the end of the day gives me a clear direction and helps me manage my time efficiently.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to worry less about the future and focus more on enjoying the journey. The path to where I am today had its challenges, but each one was a valuable learning experience.

Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you on?

I believe that every child can learn to enjoy visiting the dentist. It’s all about how we, as dental professionals, create that first impression and ongoing experience.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

I recommend making time for self-reflection and mindfulness. It helps me stay grounded and maintain focus on what truly matters both in my professional and personal life.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

I take a short break to meditate or go for a walk. This helps clear my mind and refocus on the tasks at hand with a fresh perspective.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

Building strong relationships with my patients and their families has been crucial. It’s not just about providing dental care but also about creating a trusting and caring environment. This approach has led to word-of-mouth referrals, which have been invaluable for growth.

What is one failure in your career,  how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?

Early in my career, I struggled with managing my time effectively, which affected patient care. I overcame this by learning to delegate and prioritize tasks better. The experience taught me the importance of time management and teamwork in a clinical setting.

A mobile app that gamifies dental care education for children, making learning about oral hygiene fun and engaging, encouraging better habits from an early age.

I use a dental practice management software that streamlines appointment scheduling, patient records, and communication. It keeps the practice organized and improves efficiency, allowing me to focus more on patient care.
