In 2017, the company donated funds to help South Florida students join a literacy program called the JT Reading Room, donates annually to Cancer.org for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and continues to make donations to schools across Broward County. Our family business started in 1973. We are celebrating our 45th year in business. Air conditioning is very important in South Florida, and we pride ourselves on our friendly, expert service.
What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
As the All Year Cooling owner, my day begins early. I am involved with every aspect of our company. I meet with my sales staff, my installers, and my service crew to make sure they are providing the customer the best possible service. It’s not only important for my customers to have a top-notch experience, but also my staff. Happy employees make happy customers, so it’s important to value and listen to everyone in the All Year Cooling team.

I bring ideas to life with the help of my staff. I couldn’t achieve success in business without a solid, reliable staff behind me. I like to explore the new developments in our industry, including new products and new methods of installation.
What’s one trend that excites you?
New technology that is introduced to the market. I am very interested in home automation so that our clients can use their air conditioning in a more cost-efficient way. What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
Always being responsive to my staff’s ideas and needs. Since I grew up in the business, I understand how everyone can have ideas that benefit the company. Like I said before if my employees are being heard and feel satisfied with their experience working at All Year Cooling, it helps us as a machine that can work together as productively as possible.
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
I recommend that everyone takes the time to understand their market. By asking myself what my target market in South Florida needs, I can customize our strategy to better serve those needs. What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?
With the influx of technology in today’s economy, it is no surprise that it has been a major key in growing All Year Cooling. In addition, we are active on all social media platforms and reach out to our followers daily with HVAC updates, trends, and offers in South Florida.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
I got a new pair of athletic shoes for coaching my daughters on the soccer field. Spending time with my family is one of my favorite past times, especially when I’m helping my kids achieve goals they are working hard to accomplish. Whether that’s in school or on the field, I’m always happy to help out where I can.
What is one piece of software or technology that helps you connect with customers? How do you use it?
Social Media, especially Facebook and Instagram, helps me to build a sense of community with South Floridians. As a family business and close-knit team, we post pictures of us at home installations, in addition to testimonials with happy customers. We’re always updating our page with the latest offers and coupons to make sure everyone sees the best deals available in South Florida.
