What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

Survivors Course is the center of my daily routine, and it’s an incredibly fulfilling one. As an educator at this institution, I witness the transformative power of education on a daily basis. Our curriculum is designed to be specifically tailored to three different courses, each of which focuses on unique aspects of the exam process. We provide specialized training and attention to every student, allowing us to cater to each person’s specific needs. I spend most of my day preparing for our classes, attending to our One-on-One tutoring sessions, and personal statement services. Helping students achieve their goals is the main focus of my job, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see them make progress. My day is jam-packed with challenging, yet productive activities, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this supportive community.

How do you bring ideas to life?

My ideas are brought to life by consulting with my team and putting the needs of my students at the forefront of the services offered by Survivros Course. I was once studying for the USMLE myself and went through the same experience, so I try to draw upon this experience to see how I can help others.

What’s one trend that excites you?

A trend that excites me is the use of technology in the educational space. Survivors Course is a fully online program, so students from all over the country can utilize the services offered to help in their preparation for USMLE.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

One of my most effective habits is taking a few minutes each morning to plan out my day. It’s so easy to get caught up in the chaos of work and life, but having a clear plan of action helps me stay on track and avoid distractions. I find that making a to-do list and breaking down tasks into manageable chunks helps me stay organized and focused. Plus, there’s something satisfying about checking off completed tasks as the day goes on. This habit has not only helped me be more productive, but it’s also reduced my stress levels and helped me feel more in control of my day.

What advice would you give your younger self?

The advice I would give to myself is advice I give to my Survivors Course Students, take your time to understand the fundamental information when preparing for the USMLE test. This test can be very stressful and intimidating but by learning the base information for medical terminology can help tremendously.

Tell us something you believe that almost nobody agrees with you on?

Online education is just as valuable, if not more than in person courses.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

As the owner of Survivors Course, we focus on education in the medical field so it is important to consistently stay up to date with new information, technology, treatments and procedures. By reading articles, talking to peers and doing consistent research I am able to provide not only myself but my students with the most relevant information. I recommend everyone, in every field, to do the same.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

When I feel overwhelmed and unfocused I take some time to do something of enjoyment and then return to what I was doing. By giving myself a bit of a break I am allowing myself to rest and feel more motivated to pick up where I left off.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?
