Don’t take time for granted.

Like a racer blasting out of the starting blocks, Vladimir Rigenco started working at the age of thirteen and has never stopped. He has simply shifted his world to accommodate his preferences in life. By the age of nineteen, Vlad Rigenco had been accepted into virtually every University that he applied too. He chose York University, located in Toronto, to study business and finance. However, the thought of not working for four years was unacceptable to him. He decided to fast-pace his life with a career in the real estate industry.

Vladimir Rigenco left York University and began studying the real estate market. Within a year of him leaving school, he had his real estate license. Over the next eight years, he has thrived as he continues to learn and hone his skills in the industry. As opportunity would have it, five years into his career in the real estate industry, Vlad Rigenco began specializing in digital marketing, providing brand awareness and product marketing solutions. He worked within the real estate industry initially and moved into other markets.

Vladimir Rigenco had a quick-start at life at a very young age. He is now in preparation to launch his own mobile application. The application will enable other modern business professionals to showcase their talents to businesses and organizations on a live stream platform. They will be able to present their skills and talents to a global audience. It will also enable businesses and organizations to connect with the talent and specific skills they require.

Where did the idea for your company come from?

When I was nineteen I was accepted to every university that I applied to in Canada. I chose York University. However, I was anticipating four years of minimal wages at best doing part-time work, it was not something that I was comfortable doing. In speaking with a good friend within the real estate market, he suggested that I consider a career in real estate. It paid well and I could earn my license within a year. I decided to go into real estate and I have been successful. About three years into the business, I had the opportunity to do digital marketing in the real estate market and eventually to other industries.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

Every day is productive! I start my day at 6:00 a.m. with a ten-minute meditation. Then I do a half-hour workout, and another half hour of brain training, which is reading. I stay away from technology for the first hour of my day. That keeps me focused on the goals that I set for myself. It keeps my day very productive.

How do you bring ideas to life?

Since I’ve been working in real estate, I’ve become very astute at problem-solving. There are many reasons why people want to buy a house, and why they want to sell their house. I am a very good listener. I listen to our client’s problems. I try to help or solve their problems. I come up with solutions to make people successful.

What’s one trend that excites you?

One trend that excites me is different ideas and different opinions or views. Books excite me as well. It gives us the writers viewpoint.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

One of the habits that makes me more productive is the research that I do. It is sort of a habit of mine. I read blogs about trends and what is going on in the community.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell younger Vladimir Rigenco to focus on myself first then focus on others. You can not give what you do not have. Also, don’t take time for granted. Time is the biggest resource that we have. Time passes by very quickly. We don’t have a lot of time here. Learn how to manage your time well.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

Honesty. Most of the people that I have dealt with in business manner and outside, believe that honesty is a weakness. I believe honesty is the truth that hurts or might hurt in the future, but that is what makes us human being powerful. Being honest, and knowing the truth

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

I keep aware of my goals. I focus on what I want to achieve consistently. I think about it all of the time. You may even catch me talking out loud to myself about strategies and goals.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

By far, it is the networking that is the best strategy for growing a new business. Connect with people whenever you can. Don’t be afraid to talk or speak with anyone. Have the courage to speak with anyone about your business.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

I tried to get my hands around to many things at one time. Multitasking was not my friend. If you do that you can not stay focused on your goals. You can’t catch two rabbits at a time. They will out-run you. I had four companies at the same time and in different industries. You can’t do it all at one time. You need to focus or all businesses will fail. I learned to focus and put one hundred percent of my time on one business.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

I believe that people should give business opportunities to others. One idea is to look at the talent that they have to offer with their strengths and create a business based upon that talent to help others showcase their own talents. I have my way where I am doing the same.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

The best hundred dollars that I recently spent was on the purchase of five motivational books from Indigo. Books for me are always one of the best investments that I make in life. You can always learn from it and you can always go back to it.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

I believe social media platforms are way overrated. I use many different platforms and many different websites to do research, but I also use the old fashion method of books and networking.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

One book that I would recommend for the community to read is:
The God Problem: How a Godless Cosmos Creates by Howard Bloom. It is a philosophical book. It has science, history, psychology and everything else. It demonstrates how things in life are as mediocre. It is the meaning of life book. If you want to learn about life and intelligence, it gives you a very different perspective. It challenges you to consider a different perspective.

A second book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. This is a great book for people who have lost their life or their focus. It is a great motivational book.
