What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

My day starts early with a time of prayer and meditation, grounding me in my faith and setting the tone for the day. After that, I dive into a mix of coaching sessions, recipe development, and studies in culinary school and interior design. I make my day productive by sticking to a strict schedule and setting daily goals, ensuring that each task aligns with my broader objectives.

How do you bring ideas to life?

Bringing ideas to life, for me, involves a combination of visualization, planning, and collaboration. Whether it’s a new recipe, a design project, or a philanthropic initiative, I start by visualizing the end result, then break down the steps needed to achieve it, often seeking input from experts or those with lived experience to refine the idea.

What’s one trend that excites you?

The trend towards holistic health and the integration of traditional wellness practices with modern medicine excites me. It aligns with my work as a holistic health coach and my personal belief in the power of natural healing.

What is one habit that helps you be productive?

Starting my day early with prayer and meditation not only centers me spiritually but also enhances my focus and productivity throughout the day.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self that resilience is your greatest asset. The challenges and hardships will shape you into a strong, compassionate, and driven individual, capable of making significant impacts in the lives of others.

Tell us something you believe almost nobody agrees with you on?

I believe that integrating spiritual health into every aspect of wellness, including physical and mental health initiatives, can revolutionize holistic health practices, despite the skepticism it may face in more secular health circles.

What is the one thing you repeatedly do and recommend everyone else do?

Cultivating gratitude through journaling or prayer is something I do daily and recommend everyone try. It transforms your outlook on life and helps navigate challenges with a positive mindset.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, what do you do?

I take a step back and engage in physical activity, like CrossFit, or spend time outdoors, farming or caring for my pets. These activities help clear my mind and restore my focus.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business or advance in your career?

Networking with authenticity has been key. Building genuine relationships within various communities has opened doors and created opportunities that align with my values and goals.

What is one failure in your career,  how did you overcome it, and what lessons did you take away from it?

Early on, I attempted to expand my business too quickly without a solid plan, leading to setbacks. I overcame this by taking a step back to reassess and prioritize, learning the importance of strategic growth and the value of patience.

What is one piece of software that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

Trello helps me manage my projects and daily tasks. I use it to organize my schedule, track progress on various projects, and coordinate with team members efficiently.

Do you have a favorite book or podcast you’ve gotten a ton of value from and why?

“The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren has been transformative, offering deep insights into living a faith-filled life with purpose and intention.

What’s a movie or series you recently enjoyed and why?

I recently enjoyed “The Chosen,” a series about the life of Jesus Christ. Its portrayal of biblical stories with depth and humanity has been both inspiring and educational, aligning with my faith and interests in storytelling.
