Bernadeane Brown

When you work hard with people, they can feel your positive energy.

Bernadeane is Co-Owner and Co-Founder of People Unlimited Inc., a social organization that supports individuals who are interested in unlimited lifespans.

Bernadeane first heard about the concept of physical immortality in 1960, from an LA area preacher who was speaking in a religious context. But that message resonated with Bernie on a deep physical level. She went on a search to find other people who felt the same way.

When Bernadeane met James Strole they learned that they shared a profound agreement about the value of people and human life, and about the body’s potential to live without death. Together they traveled the world lecturing about living an ageless lifestyle and physical immortality. They ultimately settled in Scottsdale, Arizona, where they created a social network to educate and connect like-minded individuals interested in learning all the latest on life extension and age reversal.

Where did the idea for your company come from?

I created the name. I felt that we are people who are actually unlimited when we come together for that purpose. We don’t just have one way of being and living. We are growing and changing all the time. So the name says exactly who and what we are.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

I’ve been on this earth for over 80 years, and you wouldn’t know it judging from my activity level. I appear so much younger because I take care of myself and I reinforce my beliefs that we are unlimited every day.

I have a couple of Spanish Water Dogs that I like to take for walks in the morning. I work out with a personal trainer. I also swim during the summer.

I do a lot of work with people, meeting to discuss what’s happening in their lives. Some want to discuss a new direction, others require encouragement or inspiration.

I have a number of passions, including fashion and music. On any given day you can also find me pursuing these. Combined with my community involvement, these are what keep me energized.

I love my children very much, but I live my life for myself. I encourage all people to do the things that will make them prosper and bring them joy. I think people should live large.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I bring ideas to life by saying what I feel and I encourage everyone to do the same. I live for me. I have my own life to live. I love my children very much, but I live my life for myself. I encourage all people to do the things that will make them prosper and have joy. I think people should live large. Men and women should equally find their joy.

What’s one trend that excites you?

One trend that excites me is all of the new health research and information that is now available to help the physical body live longer and better. There have been so many advances in science and medicine that we can start to see how the physical body is really designed to heal itself. This excites me. I am experiencing the benefits myself.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

I stay in contact with people all over the world. We have people coming together. We do a lot to unite people who are like-minded and we are cultivating the community. We have many visitors to Scottsdale.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self not to be afraid to be who I am in this world. I would tell myself that the physical body does not have to age. I would tell myself not to worry about what other people say or think.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

The biggest thing that no one agrees with me on is that the physical body does not have to die. I believe that if we do everything to nourish and exercise your body it will stay alive.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

I keep up with everything that is going on. I dress well, I stay aware of how things are that are changing every day. I am around people who bring me joy. I take my vitamins every day, I exercise every day. I live in the moment and I live in joy. I think it is important to be playful. I believe if you do all of these things that you will become joyful. When you make joyful and playful a habit, you will wake up joyful each morning. My Joy comes very naturally.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

My passion for people and my desire for them to stay well is projected out in a positive way. If there is a strategy, it is that I give my all when I am working with people and they can feel that positive energy.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

This has been a really positive experience. I can not think of anything that we can actually call a failure.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

One business idea that would be great is to create a business that would make people be more aware of how to make their bodies more important.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

I recently spent a hundred dollars on a friend who had cancer and didn’t have the resources for the treatment that he required. I along with others contributed treatments. We do that often.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

I involve myself directly with the people. I use my calendar. It stays very full at all times. But my favorite website is www.peopleunlimited.com.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

The one book I would recommend is Just Getting Started by Jame Strole and Bernadeane Brown. The book explains our story and how we got started with People Unlimited.
