Bhushan Patil is a telecommunication engineer turned into a digital marketer & blogger based in Mumbai (India). After completing his engineering he worked as a system engineer in many multinational companies but later he decided to follow his passion and left his job and started doing “SEO” and “content writing”. He handles many companies marketing and SEO based in the USA, UK and Australia and helps them ranked on the top in Google. During his journey of 9 to 5 job he wrote many articles on real-life incidents and motivation and after getting the good response from his followers he then launched “bloggerbhushu” blog.

Bhushan is very passionate about his writing. He is also featured as a guest blogger on “women with gifts” organization in Texas US. He started his blog in 2018 and now it’s been covered into the so many different topics that making positive changes in the people lives. The motto behind the platform “Bloggerbhusu” is to give the space to the emerging writers to share their writing with the like-minded people.

Apart from Founder and CEO of bloggerbhushu, Bhushan is a good artist and speaker too. Bhushan loves road trips and he usually travels alone. He says, travelling alone help him explore his passion closely and ultimately that gives him more creative ideas for his writing.

Where did the idea for bloggerbhushu come from?

I use to write quotes on social media, then one day I thought, how about writing a short story? Then I started writing down real-life stories, travel experience and motivational stories and one day my best friend ‘Aman Singh’ told me to publish my stories on the internet. He told me to make a blog and then after I published my first article on blogger. Later I registered Bloggerbhushu.com officially.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

My day starts with traditional Indian yoga called “Surya namaskar” and reading books. This little things in the morning give me enough energy to keep myself motivated throughout the day. Then I start with my work (9 to 10 hours usually). I organize my work a day before, like everything I want to do is already planned and that’s what makes me more productive. I rarely miss my targets.

How do you bring ideas to life?

The real-life incidents. I travel a lot and travelling itself gives me a lot of experiences like a good experience or bad experience. I carry a small diary with myself whenever I go out and make a note of incidents that catches my attention and later that become ideas for articles. My team is also there to help me out.

What’s one trend that excites you?

Remote working. I mean, this is so amazing!! My team can work from anywhere they want to work. Remote working not only helps my team to do work from home but also makes them more productive as they get all the freedom for the way they want to work.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

Strict discipline about the deadlines and early morning work hours make me more productive as well as creative. I wake up at 5.30 am daily and start working from 8.30 am. I feel more energy and mind is also fresh so I usually work in the morning hours.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Be passionate about what you love and what you want in life and don’t stop until you achieve it. Time is a very precious thing, don’t waste it. Dream big, do big.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

There is nothing like starting a company with a low-cost investment. Even startup needs enough money that they need to raise funding for that. Things like the high initial investment are real. You can’t set up a proper system without high capital.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

A clear vision and focused mind is the key to success. Have a plan of action of what you’re doing. I always make a roadmap of any project before I start which include things like, requirements of the project, cost, and the ROI (Return on Investment).

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

Consistency and visionary ideas are the secrets to success. I usually planned things on a yearly basis and quarterly basis. This simple plan help to divide my activities on a monthly basis so if i achieved all the monthly target that means I will achieve my target goal at the end. This strategy of dividing the tasks help me grow my blog a lot.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

Initially, I failed to gain more audience because I didn’t have any idea about marketing and reaching the right audience. I learnt social media marketing and later that helped me a lot gain thousands of audience.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Many major companies need content ideas for their digital marketing strategies like google ads, Facebook ads. Creating a team of innovative minds who can write ad copies for such companies can be a good business.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

I spent on a Facebook advertisement to reach more target audience that can help me get more engagement.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

As a writer, the Grammarly is a tool that helped me a lot to make the writing done in less time.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

Attitude is Everything by Jeff Keller, This book will help you understand the power of a positive attitude and the importance of networking.
