Christeria Lynn is President & CEO of Christeria Lynn, LLC. and founder of B.H.E.R.R.D, a non-profit organization for single mothers. Lynn is a business coach, life coach, motivational speaker and author. Christeria Lynn oversees the strategic direction of several small to mid-businesses across three states. Christeria Lynn, LLC. was founded in February 2017. After successfully operating a Residential and Commercial Cleaning Company and helping several business owners with their operations, Lynn decided to start a consulting company. Christeria Lynn, LLC. is a business consulting and development company that assists small to mid-size businesses with infrastructure, administrative support, sales and the building of social media platforms. The company was founded to empower entrepreneurs, save business owners time and make them money. This single mother of six biological children took two thousand dollars from her income tax refund check and turned it into six figures in two years, which ultimately put her on a path to destiny. Lynn released her new book From Desperation to Destiny on February 20, 2019. From Desperation to Destiny is about Finding Hope and Independence through Secret Struggles. Lynn formerly worked at Procter & Gamble in the logistics department before she decided to start her cleaning company. While working in the CPU logistics department at Procter & Gamble, Lynn gained a wealth of knowledge and insight about how divisions within major corporations are ran. After working at Procter & Gamble for approximately 6 months, Lynn decided to start her own company. Lynn brings over 15 years of business experience to the table. Previously, Lynn solely owned and operated a Real Estate Company in the state of Georgia with approximately 10 agents underneath her direction. Lynn moved back to Cincinnati, Ohio in 2009. A few years after being in Cincinnati, Ohio, Lynn received her Real Estate Sales Associate license. Lynn currently holds three Real Estate licenses in three different states. Lynn was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lynn currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her children. Lynn graduated from Woodward High School. While attending Woodward High School, Lynn was a part of the (C.A.M.A.S) Cincinnati Academy of Mathematics and Science program). Lynn will be soon going back to college to earn her Bachelors Degree in Sociology.

Where did the idea for your company come from?

It came from my name because I wanted to brand myself.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

My day starts off with meditation, then reviewing my list of goals and tasks that I have for the day. I normally communicate with my clients back and forth via text and email and work on the generating the results they hired me for. I make my day productive by managing my time effectively and efficiently, staying with the tasks planned.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I have an idea, pray about the idea, make sure the idea is sustainable, research the product or service and then determine if it’s something I want to bring to life.

What’s one trend that excites you?

Social Media Groups. Social Media is one thing, but Social Media Groups is another. Being a part of Social Media groups and being able to interact with the masses really excites me.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

Time Management and Execution.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Don’t make mistakes in my early years that I have to clean up in my latter years. Focus on the long term consequences of the decisions that I make.

Following your dreams, even if your pockets don’t match up with your vision.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

Research, Research and Research. Study my craft endlessly.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

Social Media FB Groups has helped me grow my business tremendously. I been able to reach the masses through these social media groups and advertise to the masses as well. Some of these social media groups have 100K plus followers in them, if not more.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

Maintaining a good work staff. The attrition rate is extremely high in the cleaning space and it was hard to find good employees. I was not able to maintain the retention of good employees.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Making sure you have low hanging fruit that keeps your pipeline of cash flowing. Taking the time to automate your process and/or your product or service.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

Registering my business and making it official with the State. That is the best $100 I’ve ever spent.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

Quickbooks. Helps me send my clients invoices, let’s me put my clients on an automation billing cycle. It also helps me streamline my processes.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

GRIT- by Angela Duckworth. This book is great for business principals, passion and perseverance.
